  • Hi Elaine:
  • I've found that holly likes shade and does not like drought. Try giving it a really deep watering once a week.
  • How big and established is the tree?
  • Did the problem just start, and what changed for the tree's environment?

My long needle pine trees are showing signs of growth but are browning on the ends of the needles and some the entire branches. The trees are 8 years old and approx. 12' tall. What can I do?

Cut off a piece where it is turning brown and take it to a nursery where they sell trees and ask. They should be able to tell you at no cost. If you have a camera I would take pictures as well to give them an idea what is happening.

I have a 15-20 ft. pine tree. We recently trimmed alot off the bottom of it and now the healthy branches on the tree are turning brown. Is my tree dying?

Pine trees seal themselves with sap fairly quick so you don't have to worry. If the needles are turning yellow and dropping it could be experiencing some shock or it may just be dropping needles for the fall.
If the needles are actually turning brown, check the trunk and branches for signs of boring insect damage such as hole with sap coming out.

Electrical issue?

say what lights exactly , the cab of cars can have 20 freakn lights.
stop guessing, please, and huge costs an labor, !!

you car has what is called dark current.
you saw the light fai,l in the dark, and ignored that.
that IS The problem , it flattened the battery , that is NORMAL.
Normal for and illegal DRAIN.

ok, I see lamps on, key off. HL switch off. Head Lights (HL)
so , i pull fuses 1 by one, and bingo X fuse kills the lamp(s).
i trace that fuse path only ,using my ammeter.

here is a phantom drain page.
shows 3 ways to trace it, best is an ammeter.

http://www.fixkick.com/drain/drain.html

think of a car electrics as a tree.
and one branch as a problem?. the fuse protects each branch
from catching fire. and allows you to measure the current on each branch very easy.;
we use the ammeter to find which twig is shorted (switch closed in error or , a real short, of random happenstance_)
is this better/
good luck to you and do ask any questions. (how to, on all)
