How do you adjust the idle settings on a Baumr-AG SX 25 chainsaw

read the user manual first as it will show any parts used for transport that have to be removed The user manual shows that the chainsaw comes supplied with plastic spacers (BB) underneath the chain drive cover and over or around the chain drive cover studs (CC)
Those spacers are for shipping purposes only and must be discarded before mounting the chain bar

The last baumr product( impact drill) that I purchased included the user manual in the box

Loosely based on an Electrolux chainsaw so Oregon bars should also fit

Cant find much on your machine as its an obscure make and model. This brings with it the ease of sourcing parts, sometimes its better to stick with known brands for this reason.

Your carburetor is the issue. You have to adjust the H needle on the carburetor. You adjust this by turning in quarter increments while holding the throttle in... if there are plastic limiters on the ends of the adjustment needles u can take them off... they are there for epa regulations only... also go to you tube to get a video on how this is done, good luck,u can do it!!

Where I have a bit of a problem is that this question about a chainsaw is headed 'Problem with Video Cameras'. Maybe Fixya's fault.

check the spark arrestor screen in the muffler. if its plugged up then the saw can't exhaust and will bog down
