For normal wire on gas the + wire is the hand electrode
the - terminal ( clamp )goes to earth on the job
when using gas-less wire in a mig the wires are connected in reverse
when using a stick hand piece in the mig the stick hand piece is on the + terminal , the same as gas less wire
all of this would be in your user hand book or can be down loaded for your machine

The remote or Aux input does not work on my Galls Street Thunder xs100. I hooked up a switched ground lead, no result. I hooked up a switched positive lead, no result. Any ideas??

What do you mean you hooked up a switched lead? There are inputs for voltage, outputs for speaker, a connection for the horn ring and a set of terminals to hook up the output of a radio to.

How do i hook up my Panasonic SC-AKX73 2.1 Channel 850W System w/ 3-Way Speakers to my desktop computer

the easiest way to hook it up is with a lead with a 3.5mm speaker plug on one end and red/white rca (or whatever) on the other end to input into the panasonic.
the dell alienware probably has 5.1 or 7.1 audio out so you could use a lead with matching wires for the panasonic.

Pioneer radio wont retain station memory

clock probably doesn't stay either.....sounds likke the wiring may be incorrect...there are 2 battery + leads on these radios...One is yellow...which should be hooked up to a hot lead that is hot all the time even with the key off( you could just run a wire to the positive side of the battery)..thios lead is the memory lead that keeps stations, settings, and the clock....then there is the red lead that is supposed to be hooked up to a switched positive lead...such as the accessory lead fron the ignition switch....it's a good bet that the red and yellow leads are hooked together and that they are hooked to a switched ignition lead right now...all you have to do is disconnect the yellow lead from where is hooked now and hook it to a hot all the time then your memory, and stations should be retained

How do i hook up my kicker comp dual voice coils

If you are wanting to run them bridges, I'm going to assume each voice coil is 4 ohms, then what you want to do is as follow

+1 -2

+3 -4

So on the diagram here, I know its silly, but you'll hook a wire from lead 3 to 1, that will bridge the positive side dow. Then you will hook a wire from lead 4 to lead 2. From lead 1 and 2, run your speaker wire to the terminals on the box. Now if you have a mono block amp, its not going to affect. If you have a 2 channel amp that is bridgeable, be careful. Some amps are not 1 ohm stable. Try and see. Good Luck.

How do you remove a broken wire in the wire liner with no wire exposed at either end of the liner?

Remove the lead completely from the welder and remove the tip Strip all of the insulation off of larger piece of copper electrica wire (probably #12) and push it through the lead. You need to use the largest size copper wire that will fit in the lead so that the stuk wire does NOT jam against the inside of the lead. It is a **** shoot as to whether or not you can clear the lead to the weld head. If you know you folded the wire inside the lead you can try making a "tight" hook with a piece of the wire weld wire to try and hook the piece that folded over. Good Luck!

How do I hook up a Nitro capacitor?

the cap will connect "between" the main power/gound leads and the amp. If your amp is currently hooked disconnect the power (be sure to disconnect from battery first) and ground leads from amp. Place ring terminals on both leads (red + black - ) and connect to the appropriate terminals on the cap. Then place another wire from the appropriate terminals on the cap to the power connections on the amp.

I need to know which wires go into which transformer lead there is a red wire and grey connected together then orange and black together then yellow and black together then black comming from air...

first find out your voltage..240 or 208...then it is 2(two) wires high voltage and ground. Both high voltage should go to transformer one on common lead another to 240 or 208 lead( if you have up to 218 use 208 lead...), transformer ground it self so don't worry about ground. other side of trasformer got 2 wires it will be your 24 volts..normaly it is blue and red( ruud-rheam-goodman red and grey, carrier red and brown)...if you need to know how to "hook it up" low voltage let me [email protected]
