Take it back to the dealer. These small units have a 12 volt DC
generator that is internally converted to 120 volts AC. As such
they are fairly complicated.

Put new gas and new oil in and tried to start. Would stall in few seconds when could start. There is fluid dripping from the filter area

Hi Anonymouse:
I'd be checking to make sure that the correct fluid in the correct amount was added to the correct place.
Start with the oil. Check the dipstick or indicator level. Too much oil will stop the engine. Sometimes gas get accidently put in the oil filler if an inexperienced person is helping with the maintenance.
Gas.......... Make sure that oil was not accidently added to the gas tank. Drain the carb and put fresh gas in the gas tank.
Spark plug.;.... pull and check for fouling. Replace if not really clean. Check for hot blue spark before re-installing.
This should get you back digging up the garden very soon.

Won stay running

Check carburetor & air filter. Clean off all dirt and clean air filter. check age of gas. Cannot be more than 30 days old. Make sure to use fresh gas w/synthetic 2-cycle oil @ 40:1 ratio (1 gal.) Gas to 3.2 oz. Oil). Do not use old or stale oil/gas mixture. Before putting in fresh fuel, press the primer several times. A small amount of gas might show up in the fuel tank. Remove fuel. With carburetor cleaner, spray carburetor. Put in small amount of fresh fuel. Just enough to cover the fuel filter. Then press primer with fuel cap off, and watch to see if fuel is flowing smoothly. If not or if plastic primer bubble does not come back to original shape after pressing, then you have to take carburetor apart and clean or get new carburetor.

Clean or change air filter. Clean, gap or change spark plug. Empty gas tank add fresh gas with Stabil. When spark plug is removed pull rope several times to blow out cylinder. Spray starter fluid in spark plug hole before replacing spark plug. Clean outside of carb so choke works freely. Spray starter fluid into carb breather hole with air filter removed and try to start. if running replace air filter and cover. If no start disassemble carb and clean. If no start replace carb.

I can not get my craftsman leaf blower to start. I put a new spark plug and fresh gas. Won't start.

Not to sure without seeing or hearing it being pulled over. Compression? Very likely needs some carb work/kit.

My MTD Yard machines riding mower won't start.

Probably dead gas from sitting too long. Dump it out & put in fresh gas.Could have moisture in it. Pull out spark plug & crank it over several times after putting gas & let it sit a while to dry out or blow it out with compressed air. It should go.

Small engine won't start

hello sir, mower will not start or run, does it have good spark, good compression,or only runs on full choke, engine surges up and down, are you getting fuel to the engine if not try this, your carb. is clogged up here is what you can do for a simple repair and other things if you want to, you will need a new air filter, spark plug, oil, if you want to a new blade also ,sears has a mini tune up kit that you can buy. now for the carb, empty fuel tank, place mower on side to where carb is facing up place a rag under carb to catch excess fuel, remove the bowl nut and bowl careful of the gaskets, now spray carb cleaner in the small port holes in the carb steam in the middle of the carb until clean, now spray the bowl nut holes until clean there are three, after cleaning put bowl on the same way you removed it with dip towards front of float, put bowl nut in, now while you have mower on side drain the oil remove filler cap to drain, put pan under spout, mower holds 21 o/z of 30 wt oil,you can remove blade to get sharpened or put new one on,to remove blade put a pair of vice grips on the body where the blade can stop and not turn it is usually a 9/16 or 1/2 socket, put blade on add oil,add new and fresh gas,you should be good to go,hope this helps, what i am telling you here is what i would do if it was here in the shop, any comments welcome, thank you.~~

190cc 675 sears push LM. Irene put it under water. Drained carb and crank. removed and cleaned filter. New gas. Won't start. Got a little pop with starter spray. No pop at all?

Did you drain fuel tank before refilling with fresh fuel? Drained carburator bowl good, drained crankcase and refilled with fresh oil good, removed air cleaner and dried out good. One question for you , did you remove spark plug and drain any water that may have gotten into your cylinder through an open valve? There could be water sloshing around in the cylinder, gas and water will not fire, and water on spark plug wont allow plug to spark. If you need any more help please get back to me , I believe this is the first under water problem I've encountered. GOOD LUCK.

check gas tank with light is there dirt in tank? did you change fuel filter? is there spark at the spark plug? try a 2 second spurt of starting fluid in carburetor and crank does it fire?if it does then you most likely need to clean carburetor with carburetor cleaning spray, flush fuel lines with spray and swap fuel filter.

Tiller has sat in weater for a year. I changed the spark plug, and found there was water or gas in the oil (lots of it) i drained the oil and put in fresh but now it wont even start. what is my problem or...

You need a few things for a combustion engine to work. Firstly you are going to need to know a little about engines and how they work.
Fuel - try draining the tank and putting fresh fuel in it - fues does go stale. This will include fuel in the carburetor so that needs drained too. There was liquid, assuming water in the oil, perhaps it is in the fuel too.
Fire - do you get a spark to the spark plug? Pull the plug out and see if you get spark when trying to start - remember the earth of the spark plug needs to be touching the grounded metal such as the engine or frame. Perhaps the electricals have been water damaged.
Air - clean out the air filter and surrounds.
You have already drained the oil and replaced it - good start.
Maybe something has corroded since it has been in the weather for so long.
If it still does not want to start, try pulling out the plug & trying to start - is anything spitting out the spark plug hole? If so, what?
Once that is clean and clear and it still doesn't start but you have spark, try putting a bit of fuel carefully in the plug hole, say half a tablespoon.
How does that go?
