Procedure for resetting the unit

To reset to the original factory settings
select this sub-menu and
press the "MAIN ZONE "(power) key to turn off the power. Any protection history also will be initialized at the same time.

A reset would REQUIRE you to go through EVERY setting anyway, so why don't you just go through every setting manually and leave the ones that look ok alone?

Use Advanced Setup mode - see the manual. From standby press both STANDBY + STRAIGHT buttons, then choose INIT / ALL.

Do you have the owners manual of this Receiver. If yes, then I can guide you the page numbers:
The memory backup circuits prevent the stored data from being lost even if the unit is set in the standby mode, the power cord is disconnected from the AC outlet, or the power supply is temporarily cut. However, if the power cut is more that one week , the parameter values will retun to the factory setting. If this happens, edit the parametets again.

Now you want to reset all parameters:
Use PARAM.INI ( see page 63)
First put the MEMORY GUARD to OFF position.

To go to the the above :
Make sure the OSD is displayed.
Set AMP/SOURCE/TV to AMP,
then press MENU to enter SET MENU
Reach Option mode/2
enter C) PARAM.INI
All the parameters where changes have been made from their original setting would be marked in Asterisk(*).
Make the changes required.
