You will probably need to make an appointment at the nearest Social Security office and go there to apply for Social Security survivor benefits, because, among other things, you will need to provide a certified copy of the child's birth certificate and a certified copy of the deceased parent's d3@th (have to spell it that way or Fixya considers it a profanity) certificate. Closed captioning for video files will either be hard coded into the video - meaning you cant turn off or change the language; or have an accompanying file of the same name - but an .srt extension.
Example: The movie "Gone With The Wind" will consist of the movie (video and audio) file called:
Gone With The Wind.avi or Gone With The Wind.mp4;
plus, a closed caption file called:
Gone With The Wind.srt.
If the video player you're using supports CC, such as "Videolan" "Media Player Plus" or others, it will automatically detect and play the CC .srt file ONLY IF it is located in the same directory as the movie file (.avi, .mp4). If you do not wish to see the CC on screen, simply delete or move the .srt file into a different directory.
If you're trying to display CC when playing a purchased or rented DVD or BluRay disk, you'll need to access the menu of the player that you're using to locate the options. Look for language / CC settings and make the desired choice.
