Can anyone advise how to fix / replace a cracked screen on Acer Aspire V5-571P and how much to replace screen. I dropped my laptop and the corner of the screen hit the floor and cracked the screen and now it does not take no straight forward commands it gets confused and I can not log in because the screen is cracked. can the screen be easily replaced and how much to buy replacement screen ? and where to buy replacement screen from ?
Take a look on Amazon for the screen and then google the term "disassemble Acer Aspire V5-571P. There are most likely videos showing how to do this.

There is a port for monitor cable, just plug your monitor and boot up your laptop. You need to plug first and then power it on. it should use your monitor for display

i had the same problem with my acer but it worked 4 me just 2 hit alt and f10 at the same time(alt-f10)

Hi there
yes you can plug an external monitor to the laptop, the screen switch keyboard toggle is hold down Fn and is should one other the F keys with a monitor icon on it, just press that to activate the external monitor

Walk into a Computer hardware shop. Of course they will have all the required tool to open the laptop up and fix the new screen.
