Seems like you have not got the filter plug in correctly, or it's not in tightly enough. Turn off the water, put a shallow tray underneath the filter housing, slowly unscrew the filter holder and drain out as much water as you can. Then fully remove the filter holder and check for damage or foreign matter in the screw threads. Clean it fully, dry and replace it. Turn on the water VERY SLOWLY and check for leeks.

My Maytag Front Loader Washer was reading sud on the digital screen and also reading F02. After a few days past by, it stopped reading that because i looked online and thought i solved the problem. Just...

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

F02 is a drain error in your Kenmore washer, if the unit is unable to drain then after 4 minutes it will display suds and then F02. The first thing that should be done is cleaning the drain hose and the drain pump filter, you can take out three torx screws from the bottom front panel and then clean the area completely, lift up the cap to clean the filter. If the error returns then check the drain pump if it is not working then replacing the pump is recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

I have a Whirlpool 9500TC Front Loader Washer. Can't wash garments due SUDS Display. Can't use any washer functions due to SUDS display.

Hello,

Run a cycle with white vinegar this will clear the suds. Make sure you are using HE soap if not the unit will over suds.

Another common issue is the drain pump filter. If it gets clogged the sud error will come up as well. If you have water inside the pump may need to be cleaned. Simply remove the three screws ont he bottom of the lower access panel and then twist the handle on the filter. If water is inside the washer, it will come out when the filter is pulled out.

Good luck with your washer repair friend.

When we turn our washer elite on it gives us a error of sud?

susds error is a an fault error ....the machine has detected excessive tub pressure could be from not using "HE Soap ....if your are good but you might be using to much.... whens the last clean cycle you have ran to clean excess inner tub buildup on your washer .....

1 #drain all water out of filter sump behind lower front axcess panel make sure washer is unpluged

2# reinsert filter sump and and leave axcess panel off u make have to do this several times...

3# now check black rubber hose that goes from pump to bottom of tub remove clamp check for any obstructions in bottom of tub clean float ball of debris and reinstall and reconnect clamp to buttom of tub..

4# now pour 1 cup of vinegar directly in the tub where your clothes go and shut door( dosent mater what kind of vinegar or an affresh tablet

5# plug washer back in now lets run a clean cycle or any cycle that usues hot water ....

6# if unit suds code again this could happen a few times we need to flush out the buildup you may have to repeat steps 1-6 a couple of times....

Not draining

Remove the lower front panel to gain access to the inside and bottom of your washer. You will see a drain filter between the bottom of your tup and the pump. Before you remove it you will need to hand bail the water out of your tub. Twist the drain filter counter clockwise to remove and clean it out. Note: It is very difficult to get all the water out of your tub by hand bailing so some water will come out once you remove this drain filter. I used a palstic trash bag and put it under the drain filter so when I removed it I caught the remaining water. 9 times out of 10 it is a dirty filter not allowing the washer to drain out and many times you will get a message (SUD) on the display panel. It thinks it is over sudsing and wont drain. I hope this helps you.

What happens when SUD appears in the window?

either too much suds in the washer, or the drain pump is stuck/clogged/failed.
Remove bottom panel, unscrew the filter in the pump and clean it (pinch off hoses or prepare to catch a bucket or two of water). If this did not help - most likely the pump needs replacement.

Good luck

Constantly getting a f-21 or suds error message

First check your washer plug to see if the connections are tightly screwed. Next check your filter if you haven't for long.

Remove the 3 screws at the bottom of the front panel under the washer door. Your filter door will be light brown. If you find a hose there it is to drain out excess water (water that could not be drained by your pump) After you hv drained unscrew the cap and remove all the junk inside. Have a large plastic bag to catch junk and water. Refit carefully after cleaning out. If not solved, something shd be blocking your pump, check this out

Suds? Does it foam too much? Maybe you are using the wrong detergent. Use detergents for front-loading machines

What do I do when it says SUD in the window?

Suds indicates that the unit did not drain in a certain period of time. You could have a bad drain pump or in best case scenario the inlet to the pump is clogged. You can remove the bottom panel on the front of the machine and check the pump clean out. The pump is the white round object in the center of the machine after removing front panel. When you remove the clean out plug out of the pump water will go everywhere so has something you can catch the water in. After cleaning out pump, button everything back up and check operation.

SUDS message

your machine, pump is "SUDS" locked, too much detergent in machine, you need to use HE detergent, designed specifically for frontloading washers. no t a small amount of regular detergent, but HE. you can remove the lower acces panel (3) screws across the bottom of front of unit. there you will gain acees to the pump pfilter area, unscrew the filter nad clean it out, chances are its full of allll sorts of debris.
