Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
Just about every game I have, when I put it in my 360 it goes to a screen that says to play put in a 360 disc (or something like that) in all these different languages... what's the deal and can I fix it?
Usually when this happens it means that the laser head in the drive is out of alignment and so it cannot track in on the boot track of the disc and the system then presumes that whatever you have inserted, it is not an XBox disc or DVD.
I am not aware of any way that you can fix this without voiding the warranty on the device. Your best solution to this is to contact Microsoft via the XBox Support Page and initiate a service request.
Note that if you have chipped your box, sending it to have it serviced is probably not a good idea, and anyway the warranty is already void. In that case you would want to find a local shop and pay to have the drive re-alligned or replaced (whatever is cheaper).

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
