Asked my "friend", the repair technician and told me it might be some bearing and it should be checked before it breaks down. But also told me "Don't take my word, just a comment, should listen the kind of noise it makes"Asked my "friend", the repair technician and told me it might be some bearing and it should be checked before it breaks down. Sounds like the main drum bearings have failed, and the marks on clothes are probably grease spots from the main bearings.
It is quite an involved repair, and not one that I would recommend you tackle yourself unless you are competent to do so,as it really is involved.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.
Remove drum drive belt, and spin drum by hand, if there is any resistance,. or it feels rough or noisy, the the main bearigs have probably failed.
If it is o/k then check motor for worn or noisy bearings,
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.
i had same problem with washing machine. i found out it was the stone inside which holds it down while it spins. The screws or nuts or what ever is holding the stone could be loose.
Or it could be the nuts or screws of the actual drum that spins that got loose when you moved the machine
