SOURCE: I have a Samsung hw c-451 sound bar.I have it

Dish doesn't appear to have a code for Samsung receivers but try the Sharp codes listed. Here's a link

Same thing for the LG remote

I recommend connecting your sound bar to your dish receiver as well as to the television. Play around with optical and RCA to see which one you prefer the sound of. The television isn't always the best center channel so you might find that you like this set up better with the dish receiver connected directly to the sound bar. Then you can shut of the television speakers. Some people turn the television speakers back on and leave the sound bar off for early morning breakfast news viewing. Not being sure which dish receiver you're using you might have to indicate to it how you wish to output your audio, or all outputs might be outputting at the same time all of the time.

SOURCE: LG sound bar connected to Pioneer TV by optical cable not working

1. if you have something else that you can test the optical wire on. do that first. dvd player etc... if the test item works, it's the sound bar (or a setting in the sound bar.)

2. check the audio settings on your t.v. make sure it's set to output to optical.

3. replace the wire.

if none of these solve the problem, the t.v.'s optical output may be bad.

How to sync TCL ROKU TV to LG sound bar

You will need to connect a single HDMI cable from your sound bar to the HDMI ARC or the HDMI eARC port on the Roku T.Make sure that both of the devices are both turned on.When your TV detects the sound bar,it will then automatically initiate the setting up process. Lastly follow the easy on screen instructions to finish setting up the connection.

I have a LG TV 47LD650 that has picture but no sound out of tv speakers. If I connect an optical cable into the output and use a sound bar, will it still produce sound?

You have to go to setting and change the audio output to TV speakers for the TV speakers to work,, but, if you use a sound bar with optical connection...you have to set it also .. mine works the same way,,

Just purchased Rico bos90. Put optical cable from my lg tv to the optical on the sound bar. No sound whatsoever

You may need to configure either the TV settings or the sound bar to use the optical connection. If both have HDMI connections, you might consider that connection method as an alternative.

How do I connect ILive ITO82B Sound Bar to an LG TV?

This will depend on what inputs your sound bar has and what outputs your LG TV has, typically LG have Optical DIgital Audio (Sony TOSLINK), Headphone (Analog stereo), And HDMI reverse audio from HDMI 1 only. On some LG TV's you have to turn the external sound on, and on others it is auto detected, also make sure the TV speakers are off, or you can get weird phasing from 2 outputs (TV + Soundbar).

Have lg 55ls5700 tv trying to connect samsung hw-f450

I suspect that the TV you have does not support the ARC function that the sound bar has. What you may have to do is use the Optical In from the sound bar to the TV and you should be good to go. You may have to change the TV's settings to use the Optical In though. So you should end up with the BluRay Player connected to the TV via an HDMI cable, the sound bar connected to the TV via the Optical In using a fiber optic cable. Hope this helps.

I cannot get the fireplace to light up or make crackling sounds on the Barbie Dream Townhouse.

The fireplace most likely came loose in shipping. If you can get your fingertips behind the fireplace and pull if forward a bit.... then it is loose. The is a bar/clasp behing the fireplace the top needs to rest/attach to.... lift up and push back on the fireplace until it 'clicks'. (you will feel it when it sets in properly) One attached correctly to the wall... when you push button to make the TV go up - the fireplace also lights up and makes sounds.
