Is there a way to trouble shoot?
SOURCE: Dryer not starting
when u say u checked all areas for power did u use a muti meter.. ? to make SURE u had power?
u could try jumping out the door switch to check and see if the door switch is the problem
SOURCE: maytag dryer problem
sounds like the motor. if the motor gets too hot then the overload on the motor wont let it come back on until it cools off
SOURCE: Dryer won't start
i would start simple, check your door switch for continuity and then check the start switch. If this is an electric dryer make sure you have a ull 220 volts to the dryer, anything less and only part of the machine (timer) will operate

Make sure it has power. Then:Check the door switch.
A little lever sticking down through top right of door opening. If it is
not there you will need new door switch(sometimes the little lever
breaks off). If it is there and does not click when you press it in you
need a new door switch. if it clicks when you close the door
then you have a bad thermal fuse. The thermal fuse is found by taking
the back of the dryer off. The fuse is an oblong white plastic piece
with 2 wires attached.
