SOURCE: Fridge getting warm, defost not properly working...
Sounds like a defrost problem. Check to see if
there is any frost buildup in the back wall of the freezer. If so, it is not
defrosting as it should.
If you don’t know what these are then unplug the machine and let the ice
melt in the freezer overnight with the door open. Then try it the next day, if
is cooling fine then you need to have a service person replace one of the above
items.

This is the drain tube that runs in the back of the freezer on the bottom is pluged. Take a sprayer with some hot water in it and flush out the system. Remove the food so that you dont get any of the stuff on it.

Most likely your defrost condensate drain in the rear of your freeze is frozen over. I have put together a long page on the link below. Little too much about leaks in refrigerators and how to solve the problem to fit this page. Choose the part that applies most to your situation and let me know how I may help you resolve yours. I'll be here if you need so click on the link below, Thanks, Sea Breeze
HOW TO FIX A DRAIN LEAK INSIDE REFRIGERATOR AND FREEZER PART 2
SOURCE: my frigidaire fridge is leaking
The evaporator coils frost up in normal use and every eight hours or so the entire unit shuts down and the defrost heater comes on to melt the frost. This cycle last about 20 minutes. The melted frost drips into a drain pan and through a drain tube to the drain tray under the freezer/refrigerator where it's evaporated by the condenser fan.
Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little pressure with a turkey baster will usually clear it out. Flushing it out with hot water and clorox may help.
Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the inside of the freezer at the bottom of the rear cover.

the defrost drain pan is plugged up,you need to defrost it and run a wire down the drain tray hole so it can drain to the bottom as it defrosts otherwise it defrosts and runs everywhere else and re freezes
If there is no cooling at all , before we go further we must confirm the first step of confirming the compressor and gas pressure. So shut off the fridge and leave it off while you clean and check the evaporator for frost. If frost is seen it is a good indication as the compressor is working with sufficient gas within. Now since the service man has said there is a leak the problem can also be in the compressor or the sealed system. So it is best to take an estimate for a guranteed repair , if not it is best to scrap and buy a new one.
