Automaticaly power on the camcorder

I bought a Panasonic NV-GS15 Mini DV. It was working fine, but recently it is malfunctioning. The camcorder automativaly switch on even the poewr switch is at off position. Please help. [email protected]

When i did own one i did learn never to carry the camera with the battery in it. i never had that problem when i was actually shooting, but it did happen in the bag.
