It will be 1 of 2 things, the switch is broken or the motors gone, I assume you checked the fuse.

Testimonial: "I believe the fuse is a circuit breaker that controls both seats. The other seat is ok! The seat also was operating in the reverse direction when you would try to go forward or back and the seat heaters have failed in both seats"

How do I repair the drivers power seat

Sounds likely that either the fuse has blown, the connector underneath the seat has come unplugged, or the wires under the seat have been severed. (Most likely a blown fuse.)

It isn't wired wrong. Mine does the exact same thing, but it didn't used to be backwards and the wiring has never been changed.

2003 Suburban---Heated leather seat problem

there may be a software issue, there is a reprogram for seat heater issues. Bulletin 05-08-50-008 may pertain to that, a AC DELCO Shop or the dealer can ck that and see if this bulletin applies.
