No power to ignition switch is there a main fuse somewhere, no power to main fuse panel

Sounds like you blew a fuse. Find the ACC fuse and replace it.

All these have different fuses, except a main fuse that supplies power to the different fuses. Check those first. Check power from the battery to the fuse panel. Could be a bad fuse panel. If you check voltage with a volt meter, does it show any voltage at the fuses? If 0, then look to the wires first. If they show varying voltage(like2,3,4.5,or 6) suspect the fuse panel. The voltage should be 0 or battery voltage.

I suspect you have a short somewhere between the ignition switch and the instrument panel fuse block. Here is what you can do. Unplug the igntion switch connector. Remove the ST fuse and the IGN fuse. Connect a test light to the POSITIVE side of the battery, Probe pin 3, black with white wire and pin 4, red wire at the ignition switch connector. If the test light illuminates that wire is shorted to ground somewhere between the switch and the fuse block.

Some of those fuses get their power from the ignition switch. Check to see if there are any blown fuses in the fuse box inside the left kick panel on the dash. You likely have a bad ignition switch.

I have found with these Crown Vic's,especially police cars,they manage when the get in accidents to hit the right front of the cars and when they do they damage the wiring harness. The rain,salt,snow get in the harness and you eventually have problems. Look under the car in front of the right front tire and you'll see. Good size wiring harness. Look at it for damage,or sometimes you'll see like a light green dust coming out of the harness. Usually where I find my breaks,shorts or opens.

IF YOU ARE SURE THERE IS POWER COMING OUT OF THE FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER, WITH IGNITION SWITCH ON, IT IS PROBABLY A BAD GROUND OR THE SWITCH HAS COME UNPLUGGED. THE GROUND WIRE IS BLACK & IS PROBABLY FASTENED SOMEWHERE ON THE LEFT KICK PANEL

Im assumed the regulator inspected and not gummed up and the wire is not off track or looks like a bird nest; motors are good and tested along with the main driver doors switch, fuse and relay check out, are you getting power to the dash light when the key ignition is turn on? if yes, than you have a short somewhere, if no, check ignitions switch, its also work like a master switch. sometime ignition switch get worned and loose its contact. If there is power to the dash than you going to have to narrow it down. when the key is on position, check using a volt meter to see if you getting any power to the main switch if not that you problems. if you do than you will need to test the main/master switch to see if its sending any power to the regulator by, holding the master driver window down and test the power line to the front door regulator to see if there any power coming from the master switch. if yes than it a motor to the regulator is faulty, its not common for all motor to fail at the same time. hope that help a bit

Their are two fuses that power this system. One is a 15 amp gauge fuse and the other one is a 30 amp main power fuse. You can also check the power main relay, your ignition switch, or i could possibly be a fault in the wiring
