Thanks. Yes, the refrigerator and freezer work just fine. I puled it out from the wall, took off the back sheet metal panel and reinstalled it. The fan works just fine and the hum is much quieter now.Thanks. Yes, the refrigerator and freezer work just fine. I puled it out from the wall, took off the back sheet metal panel and reinstalled it. Since the unit makes the noise on Microwave but not convection it is a problem it he Microwave Circuit. Probably in either the rectifier of bad mag, one of them shorted. Just looked at the date you posted this, Im sure you have fixed or replaced this by now
Weird, try making sure it is level, and make sure your vent pipe aint too long. Tip the cabinet back while running if the noise goes away the damn metal vent pipe is too dang long.
yea that is the compressor relay, you will start to notice your food to thaw out and get bad. try to unplug for about an hour. if then it still does that call www.whirlpoolpartssurplus.com and get a relay kit.
This can be due to low supply voltage, causing the compressor thermal overload to trip out. Therefore when this happens the compressor gets hot and it keeps trying to start but fails. It can also be a faulty starter relay, which is located in the conncetion box of the compressor and is very simple to replace.
