We recently purchase a 2005 kia sedona and when put in reverse it beeps sometimes continued beep till put in drive( no back up camera) can anyone tell me if this is normal or why it does this?

Maybe you can't. That is probably not a fault and nothing to do with the parking sensors. Many vehicles have a safety feature to alert anyone behind you that you are reversing. The only way to find which sensors is faulty is to have an auto electrician connect a pro grade scan tool computer and check the parking sensors.

Change the transmission fluid

try looking for the switch on your hand brake lever, they do have a tendency to cause problems, it could be that the switch is not being activated when you put the hand brake in the off position, refit and adjust it. if this doesn't work try unplugging it..

I would guess Mounts too.
maybe check te Strut mounts as well, they torque up as teh car goes from neutral to a gear ( forward or reverse)

Two things will cause the brake light to come on.

1. The e-brake lever is not in its fully retracted position.

2. the brake fluid in the reservoir is low.

Check both of these first. If there is no problem with either let me know.

check connector on door.it may be dirty or stuck.open door and it should be on side of door

try adding brake fluid to the max level
