Changed battery now radio doesn't display song or artists name. How do I fix this?

You only get the info the radio station provides. Some send artist and song name others send more, some send nothing.

there's not much you can do other than replacing it with an oem or an aftermarket, the electronic control inside must be bad and it doesn't lock on,it cost more to fix than to replace, ebay has tons of cheap.

What do you mean by "fix" the display, is it not showing it? If so- my Nissan Altima has not been displaying Sirius XM Title and Artist for months. After much searching of the internet, I finally found an answer that worked! Just be sure to write down your radio/sirius presets before you reset the radio - it'll clear them all (and the time). normally if the title is more than 12 letters it will end there, some go more, don't know why ,, sometimes it won't be the song title just the artist

no radio stations: propably Antenna cable is disconnected even if it goes up & down... try check it both ends
screen show: 1st make sure you press the "TEXT" button on stereo panel, otherwise try do self diagnosis (if you have in dash cd changer)... email me if problem still exist

Does it do this on all radio stations? Some stations don't broadcast that information, some do. Also there may be an info button somewhere on the radio, try pushing that to see if it comes up.

Press and hold the menu button down for 5-6 seconds. It should then give you a hidden option RDS on/off. Turn it on. Then you can see the song artist/name and you can search for station by type (rock, rap, country, etc.). you use the up and down buttons to change options.

1988 CADI Eldorado Biarritz, 4.5 liter v8: locked keys in car, called locksmith he put inflatable air bags in door to stretch 4 space to slide his crooked metal stick in and reach pull the handles, push electric door lock button/switch and manually but doors would not open. He than pulled the keys out of ignition and out the crack. Guess what, both doors sounded like they unlocked with the key but would not open. Is there some kind of anti theft protection that kicks in when you mess the doors and locks inside? Help, I have my keys but car doors will not open. Did stretching or forcing doors open a bit with these airbags possible cause damage?

go to coloradofans.com or purchase a pac-oem and an ab-gm12 connector if you have a rfd model radio (displays song and artist on radio) or you could purchase an expensive kit from bestbuy. I have an Isuzu i-350, always refer to it as a colorado when looking for these parts.
