Question about Pitco Frialator SG14 Deep Fryer
I replaced the thermocoupler but the pilot will only stay lit when the water heater needs to turn on. after it heats the waer it will go out again.
I understand it that once the main burners go off, after the thermostat is satisfied (water heated) the pilot goes out too at the same time.
Make super sure the top of the t-couple is getting hit directly by the pilot flame. You may need to adjust the t-couples position, or even clean the pilot assemblies oriface. Double checking the connection of the coax cable at the gas valve would be a good idea too. tight but not super tight.
