Question about Televison & Video
I recently purchased this TV and had my cable company hook it up. I had to buy an HDMI cable for the cable box to work with the television. First, the sound is off synch with the picture. Second, I have to use the TV remote rather than the cable remote to turn the TV on and off and adjust volume. Also, the sound does not go on unless I hit the Mute button on the TV remote twice.
Cable has suggested I get a universal remote but I am trying to find out which one is compatible but to no avail. No one is picking up at X2Gen's Product Support.
Cable is also coming on Saturday to see what they can do. Any solutions would be most appreciated. Thanks!
I also have the issue with the sound out of sync highly annoying...is this an HDMI issue?

X2gen has gone bankrupt. You will not get any answers from them and if you sent them your tv you will not get it back.

Check to see if another major brand produced the tv, like lg produces westinghouse stuff, and see if the other brand works
