Either the power supply (battery) has become defective or the main board has a short circuit. The cost of repairs to a main boars is more than a replacement galaxy.

Looking at the specs for both, they have USB 2.0 and they both accept microSD memory.
Depending on the format of the B&H memory, it may plug into the Galaxy 3 and be recognized.
Or, if that doesn't happen, you can safely connect the two via USB cable although you may need different cable ends or an adaptor for one or the other but these will be available anywhere accessories of that kind are sold.
