There are several online appliance parts stores. They know their parts and are quite helpful.

Can you replace the heating element on lamorna 4400 cooker from the front? thanks MS

Hello Malcolm Shaw,

Lamorna 4400 resolves to the other side of the earth on the bottom half... Looking for "PARTS" (usa: here) didn't work
"SPARES" did... (not dawn here yet = SF Bay Area)

I was looking for a nice VENDOR VIDEO...
"you-tube" videos vary from reality... (a wee bit)
or are just plain wrong.

Sorry I could not find you a direct answer.

My best advice is to "CHAT" with a "SPARES"
retailer (example below)

Can one half of the radiant heating element on an Electrolux range go bad?

Radiant heating elements are often dual elements and if your range uses these dual elements then yes, this is quite possible. However, other faults could cause a healthy element to not work properly.
  1. Contacts in the control switch could be burned out or seized,
  2. A wiring connector could be loose or oxidised
  3. The internal wiring may have developed a fault.
  4. The thermostat (if thermostatically controlled) may have failed
  5. Multiple, consequential or other fault conditions may exist.
A DIY 'trial and error' fix may work first time, but could end up being more expensive (and risky) than getting a professional in with the knowledge, experience and test gear to diagnose the source and extent of the fault before ordering spare parts.
I hope this helps.

I have an hygena classic built in oven. The turbo cooking option heats up slightly and the fan works but doesn't get to temperature. The grill and convection oven work fine. Any ideas. The oven is about...

The problem is usually down to the thermostat - sometimes it can be moved and end up touching the grill and burning out - other than that they just wear out after time with the heat.

Have a look here for a spare - its easy to replace if your husband is half competent with fixing things.http://www.espares.co.uk

Had similar problem , 4 yrs ago ,

I looked up my stoves model on 24/7 spares website ,and found a part which I think was basically heat thermo to gage what the spare part would cost then paid for an engineer to visit my home, and he installed and fix issues for total of 80 quid

We have a 5 ring Lofra oven (all gas) and live in spain and the seal on the oven door has perished - we need to replace it but it seems Lofra UK has gone bust and from reading reports, Italy is not helpful...

There are many types of seals that can be used which are universal and not specific. You must check with the Kitchen appliances spare parts dealer for assistance. Take along the sample of the gasket to get a look alike type.
Also there are many available in shops that sell penumatic tubings specially silicon gaskets. Only the groove need to match with the heat resistance characteristics.
