Spa just stopped threw circuit breaker replaced fuse still no power

I assume you mean you replaced the Circuit Breaker...?
Spa Breakers are typically "GFI " types... they will trip if they sense power going to ground. Please confirm this.
Is this a self contained unit with a plug in Cord? Please confirm this.
Did you install this unit yourself... including the electric?
If you installed this yourself, then kill power, and disconnect the power from the spa and see if breaker still trips.
without knowing the size and ampacity of the system, I cannot instruct you to safely troubleshoot.
Self contained units with a 20 amp conventional plug... would not know unless we get specific "year-Make-Model"

Intertherm FEH-015HA. Why does it keep opening breaker?

Avery, if the breaker is properly sized, there is something in the circuit that is causing higher than normal resistance such as possibly loose connections on one end or the other. Check the 'minimum circuit ampacity' (for circuit A and possibly circuit B) on the heater tag and make sure the correct size breaker has been installed. That should be a 15 kw furnace and could either be a dual circuit or a single circuit heat strip. Fifteen kw correlates to approximately 60 amps at 240 volts.

TURN OFF THE POWER and check the connections inside the furnace terminal block for discoloration and tightness. If its a dual circuit, there will be two breakers to turn off. Check to see if it is a dual circuit and if so, see if someone has paralleled those two circuits together inside the furnace. If so, you have to make sure the appropriate single circuit wire and single breaker has been installed.

It is usually recommended to run the separate circuits to the furnace instead of paralleling them together.

Good luck and whatever you do...BE SAFE ABOUT IT .

Hi,I have a travel trailer 37ft. Problem with my ac, the fan starts good but my compressor does not kick on. My next door neighbour says it's the compressor that is done. Could you help me?

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
Motor Trouble Cause Diagnostic Procedure Repair Procedure Electrical Power is Off Check that all service switches for the equipment are in the "on" position.
Check for voltage at the pump motor or pump controls. If no voltage is found, check for voltage at the electric panel.
If power is on to the building, check fuse or circuit breaker serving the electric motor that won't run.
Check for local reset button on the motor (popped out = off )
Check for other power reset or power off buttons such as an access door compartment safety switch that turns off power to the equipment (found on A/C blower compartment doors)
Turn on "off" switches.
Replace bad fuse. Reset circuit breaker; if necessary replace bad circuit breaker.
Let hot electric motor cool down, then push in its reset button.
Be sure all safety interlock switches such as on compartment doors are depressed and that the doors are securely shut. Replace a bad safety switch.

Loose, improper, or broken motor wire Check wiring against the motor installation manual diagram, check all connections for tightness, shorts, burns, damage Rewire or repair or replace wWhen a sealed compressor motor has "burned out" this means that the internal wiring of the motor has become irreparably damaged: the compressor motor windings may be burned and shorted together or shorted to the steel shell of the motor, or the windings may have burned and simply become "open" or disconnected. If the motor has burned out in either of these ways it needs to be replaced.

I have a Kenmore Series 70 Dryer and it keeps blowing the main breaker on the electricity panel - the main fuse is 20 amps do i have a dryer or fuse issue ?

Your dryer needs at least a 30 amp breaker to operate correctly. Changing to a 30 amp breaker should solve your problem. Hope this helps

Please advise wire and breaker size for this unit. Thanks Doug

On any piece of equipment look for the model number tag and check for something that looks like M.C.A. and/or M.O.C.P. (with or without the .'s after the letters) The MCA is minimum circuit amps which indicates the minimum wire size and therefore minimum breaker size as well. The MOCP is maximum over current device. This is the Maximum fuse or breaker size recommended for the unit. However, both numbers are more importantly linked to the wire size feeding the unit. You must be certain that the wire size is large enough to provide proper voltage without overheating and not put too large a fuse or breaker for the wire size. A good electrician or an electrical chart for wire sizing is very important.

Hi, my 90 amp cutler hammer breaker (for my ac system) went out. All I can find at the moment is a 100 amp unit is that ok to use?

You will need to check the name plate rating of your A/C it is possible that you may not even need that large of a breaker. Most of the older units that had straight electric heat strips used this large of a circuit. If it has been changed out chances are a different size will be needed. On the nameplate there will be a minimum circuit ampacity and a maxi-um over-current protection that is the boundaries for your breaker size. If you do have a larger breaker on than what the unit calls for it could cause more damage to the unit if a problem occurs. Good luck!

Can you let me know what size mcb is required for this unit

Hi, if you mean main circuit breaker, look on the condenser unit outside and it will tell you on the data plate what the rated amperage is for the unit, minimum and maximum. This will tell you this size you should go with, very easy. It will tell you not to exceed so many amps for instance 35 amps maximum. Go with a double pole 30 to 35 amp breaker and at the disconnect box, the same with cartridge fuses if it has them. Please do not forget to rate me on this as I know you will be king. Please keep me posted and I will check in on you as I keep records on you and all of the people I have helped
Sincerely,

I need the full load amp rating of the Trane YHC063A. I have the minimum circuit ampacity, the max fuse and the max circuit breaker already

Look on the rating plate on the unit itself - look for something labled as FLA. If you don't have access to the condensing unit, go to WWW.TRANE.COM and search for your full model number.
