Were you able to figure it out? I just got one too and it is not draining. I get an E4 error.

Did yours not come with a pump- I thought the white tube was the pump for it?

Normally caused by the pump blocked . Dependednt on model look for a square flap on the front of the machine and the filter will be there. Check for the cross impeller can goes round.

Testimonial: "Thanks Bryan. I was able to pull the back off and it looks that the motor that works the pump was never connected. I am now on a search for the tear down manual to how this motor attaches to the pump. if you have any idea where i can find the tear down manual for the midea 1.6 washer love to find it :) Thanks again"

It's normal to hear some water in tub, it isn't normal for the rubber wheel to be hard to turn, you need to replace the pump, they are much cheaper on ebay

washing machines engage the drain pump at the beginning of a spin cycle
If there is still water in the tub after the spin then the pump is not working to pump the water out
I would check for something stuck in the impeller of the pump stopping it from spinning, burnt pump motor , no
power to the pump program board /relay, something blocking the inlet to the pump

My Simpson Eziset 550 will not drain after a (normal) wash cycle. When the drain hose is lowered to the floor drain water flows heavily from the hose (gravity). When the hose is returned to the sink d

Hi Erin just read your post,I have worked on these machines alot. Now I need you to manually drain the machine of all the water. Once drained i want you to select drain and spin cycle. Now push the start button,do you hear the pump working? If you do stop the machine and select normal cycle on small water level and push the start button. The machine will then fill.Once it stops filling stop the machine and select drain an spin cycle.Does the machine pump out? Now if you do not hear the pump, could be the pump is faulty or jammed.Does the water flow very fast when you lower it to the floor? Please reply with answers to these questions and I will try my best to help you.

Washer WPSR3100WOWW Will wash but not drain and spin... Stops at the rinse Cycle

Does it leave water inside the tub? There are a couple of possibilitys. One could be the drain pump. If this fails the wash/rinse cycle will stop as it can sense the water not being pumped out. Can you hear the light sound of a small motot running when it goes into rinse cycle? Listen down at the very bottom far right side or far left side. If you hear the drain pump motor running is there any water discharging out the drain tube going into the wall? You should easily hear the flowing water. If not you have a few possible problems: Drain pump has an obstruction in or around it or, drain pump is actually bad.

When I close the door and push a button, a cycle does not engage. The only thing that happens is the lights on the control panel blink.

The normal sequence for most dishwasher cycles is first pumping or draining of water from the sump. Then water inlet or intake. Then wash circulation or action etc.

If the first part does not happen, and you can observe left over water in the bowl, then your drain pump is blocked or faulty.

The other item to check initially is the door switch. Make sure when you are closing the door, you can hear the door switch click or engage. Sometimes the door handle mechanism breaks and the lid switch does not engage.

I'm inclined to think that you have an issue with the drain pump. In most cases food particles or brocken glass get lodged in the pump impeller and stops it from turning.
Good Luck

My washer fills and runs tru the washing cycle then stops. It won't go thru any other cycles, won't spin and does not make any noise. Is it the timer?

Does it drain?? If not then you need to replace the pump. The pump drains the water hence allowing the spin cycle to engage. Sorry for the bad news.

The washing machine will go through cycle but will not drain water it stops before drain cycle and will not spin?

Most washers will not spin if the water has not drained out of the m/c
Try and locate a filter and clean same if you can .
Make sure the pump is working, select a drain cycle and see if you can see or hear water being pumped out.
Possible that the pump itself may be faulty.
Plz rate my solution.

Aeg 72630 update will not rinse during rinse cycle

If the drain lines were plugged, there may have been enough pressure on the pump to fault out. Make sure the sewer line is completely open, as well as the lines at the pump.
