Can I fix a broken wheel attachment on a cozy truck?

The front wheel has come off of the truck. The wheel & the metal rod that attaches the wheel to the body seem fine. Problem appears to be with the body. Did we lose a part in the collision that I can replace or did we snap off part of the plastic body? Any advice on how to repair/replace/fix this truck to get it rolling again?

SOURCE: Little Tikes Cozy Coupe red plastic wheel caps

The caps are a type of "acorn nut". Check a local hardware store (not the big guys) for this type of fastener and bring the shaft with you to get the correct size. These should not cost more than about $.50 each.

Try replacing the screw. If you cant, get a long thin bolt and nut to replace it.

This link:
http://www.littletikes.com/consumerservice/ReplacementParts-detail.aspx?Product_ID=2485&
shows which replacement parts are available from Little Tikes, and I don't see the one you're looking for. I tried to call their Consumer Services line at 1-800-321-0183, but they're open M-F from 8 am to 8 pm and Sat 9 am to 2 pm, EST. Please give them a call tomorrow.
An alternative might be to take the piece to a hardware store and see if they have anything that might work as a replacement.
Hope this helps!

I'm hoping I can replace & take care of it myself on my '02 Monte Carlo 3400.. Not sure which bar it is, but it's front driver's side, bar is broken off that looks like it should be attached to th

Front sway bar link, or tir rod end. The tie rod end moves the tire with the steering wheel.
The sway bar link helps keep the car stable around corners. And is normally a long bolt with washers and bushings running threw a long bar that connects the passenger side to driver side.

Why is the steering wheel not straight as the car goes straight?

Because the car need a front-end alignment.
Here's how that works.
The steering wheel is attached to 2 tie rods (they go by different names sometimes).
These tie rods are then attached one to each front wheel.
There are at least 2, and sometimes 4 adjustments for these under the front of the car.
When someone does a front end "alignment". they will loosen all these joints and will set the wheel straight to match the direction of the car.
Over the years, these parts wear and the wheel gets crooked.
Be blessed.

The rear wheel -driver's side - you can move it like the front tire. It's like it is not attached to a link or something to keep it straight.

IT HAS A TIE ROD END, LIKE THE FRONT. JACK UP THAT WHEEL AND MOVE TIRE SIDE TO SIDE YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE WHAT IS BROKEN,

We just purchased the 30th Anniversary Cozy Coupe and I messed up with the right and left side front wheels, I put them in the wrong sides. I need to switch them but the red Metal Cap Nut in the front...

I have dealt with many of these metal push nuts, best thing is to break the plastic off with a needle nose or regular pliers and then that will expose the metal push nut, then you can bend that with the pliers and pull it off and swap the tires to the correct sides, keep in mind this will ruin the push nuts and new ones will need to be ordered off ebay or something similar

From the ignitor button there is a wire, what should it be attached to?

It should be attached to a spade connector on the pilot assembly. There should be a metal rod there that the wire goes to to provide the spark to the pilot light.

2000 caravan drivers side rotor wears out told tie-rod true or no

Look behind front wheel for rod that attaches to spindle/knuckle, and moves your wheel back & forth from steering rack. The tie rod (outer) is the piece attached on the end, that is threaded on that rod, and attaches to the spindle/knuckle, behind the wheel. Grab your tire and try to wiggle it hard from side to side. (hands at 3 & 9 o'clock ) Push with one hand while pulling with the other. If there is slop, or play, you have probably got a bad tie rod end, which you can observe it move by looking at where it attaches, while someone else wiggles it.
