Question about Tablets & eReaders
If it is an off-brand, the battery may be dead. Check your charger with a voltage meter (if you have one or access to one) to be sure it is not your cable or charger. You can also try a different charger. Just be certain the specs on the charger match the ones on your old charger. You can replace the battery if you are somewhat mechanical. There are YouTube videos that show you how to open the tablet and replace the battery for about $20. There are many sources for batteries online. If you do not want to try that and the tablet was cheap, you may want to get a new one of a different brand. I have a VitalASC that is over a year old and works great. The tech help is outstanding. You can Google for reviews and judge for yourself. Amazon sells them, and their support is also great.

Depending on how many charge cycles your battery has had it may not accept charging anymore.
