Just guessing but did you just use the clean cycle???? During clean, the oven temp gets high enough to trip the door lock safety thermostat. This is to keep owners from trying to open the door when oven is too hot from clean cycle. It sounds like that safety didn't reset to normal when it cooled off and therefore the door is still locked. With door locked you may need to get oven out of the wall and remove top cover to get to the lock system and thermostats. Make sure power is off before doing any of this.

Getting F01 error, even after resetting breaker several times. Also, door lock has been stuck in locked mode.

the fact that you have to keep resetting the breaker should have been enough to tell you that there is a serious short fault in the machine
Take it to an appliance repair shop and have the fault diagnosed and fixed if the quote you get is reasonable

When trying the clean mode on the oven, it locked up, did not clean, and is not stuck in lock mode. How do I reset it? Turning off curcuit breaker did not help.

Hi Jim, thank you for your post! Once you have the flipped the circuit breaker it is important to wait roughly ten to fifteen minutes. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, you range could be experiencing a communication error with the EOC (electronic oven control), faulty door lock assembly, or could have wiring failure. In that case, a certified technician would generally replace the faulty part after proper diagnosis.

Frigidaire oven door is still locked 7 hours after self-cleaning

Hello - Try resetting the unit by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn the range back on. This will clear most false error codes. If error code still displays on panel, I would suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately. The unit could possibly have a faulty light switch, door latch or EOC.

If tripping and turning the circuit breaker off for about 10 minutes does not work, contact Frigidaire. Sounds like the control board and/or door switch will need replacing.

Hi

You can set the unit on self cleaning and then after 15 minutes stop the cycle, let it cool down for an hour and then open the door. If the issue remains then you'll have to replace the door lock assembly, then you can open the door with a coat hanger by pulling the latch towards you. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

What is the reset button for GE Profile JTP18?

For me the solution was in the temperature sensor. The Locked light kept flashing and the door locking mechanism kept cycling when the door was shut or if I just held the oven light switch in the closed door position. After replacing the control panel I still had the same problem. Next I turned off the breaker and then took off the wire covers on the back of the oven and disconnected the temperature sensor. I then checked the continuity of the sensor which was fine. With the sensor still unplugged, I turned the breaker back on and the panel said locked but the locking mechanism was not cycling. With power still on to the oven I connected the temperature sensor. It worked. All I had to do was press the clear button on the touch panel and everything was fine. I turned the breaker back off and reassembled the oven. Hope this helps.

F9 code

I hit the same F9 problem when trying to self-clean, except that the door was locked OPEN.

After much trial and error, I found the following fix: 1. Switch circuit breaker off. 2. Switch circuit breaker on. 3. Press Bake button. 4 Press the small/inside button which indicates that the oven door is closed.

The lock mechanism opened and the oven now works fine.
