Could also be not enough yeast or not enough salt. Test the yeast before using as it may be too old. Try a teaspoon with a few drops of water .and if it's usable it should bubble a little. Also may not be enough liquid. Be sure to measure and follow directions exactly. good luck

Could be stale yeast or poor bread flour.

Could be stale yeast. Or poor bread flour. Never use fresh yeast in a breadmaker and always put the ingredients in following the order given in the manual.

The bread won't rise like it used to. Not the yeast. What's wrong with the machine?

Is the the flour? Have you tried different recipes and does the same thing happen? Too much salt can prevent rising, or not using rapid rising yeast. good luck.

When my machine goes into the next to the last rise I have a loaf about 5' but then when it goes into the last rise before it bakes it never rises high again. The finished loaf is about 3 1/2" high....

Not fully understanding this but it sounds like you are opening the lid too much and spoiling the rise. Only open the lid when at the dough stage if necessary.
Bread will not keep warm, it will steam and go wet and soft in the pan. Open the lid when the cycle has finished and remove the loaf.
Try re-setting your machine by holding down the start button till the display goes out.

My bread maker kneads twice just fine, and it bakes just fine, but the bread doesn't rise very high. All of my ingredients are fresh. I have tried several different recipes and it still doesn't rise in...

That is a difficult problem. One thing you might try to get a better rise in your machine is to cut the salt in your recipe by one half. It's healthier that way too. Please let me know the result.

Tempature gauge doesnt rise like it should

Mostly likely being the temperature gauge isnt going to the normal position usually indicates a problem with your engines thermostat, this problem with the thermostat usually is accompanied by poor heater output so if your heater isnt getting as hot as it use to chances are your thermostat is opening to soon or is stuck in the open position which is why your temp gauge isnt rising to the normal halfway point like it should...

My temperature has been rising in my saturn if i sit very long in traffic. What could this be?

As long as the temperature isn't spiking and the fan is turning on. It is normal for the temperature to rise to halfway on the gauge and then for the radiator fan to kick on. Sitting in traffic will normally do this.

Bread not rising.

The yeast you have may be too old or it has not been properly activated prior to using.Yeast requires warm conditions to work correctly. Hope this helps.

The freezer temperature changes sporadicaly. It

The temperature would charge due to change of cycles in the refrigerator operation. For example, the temperature would slowly rise if the compressor has shut off. Also, the temperature would rise significantly during the defrost process. A heater is activated at the evaporator coil to thaw the ice that forms there. This heat would transfer to the freezer unit and would cause the temperature to go up.

As long as the cycles are constant, and the temperature does not rise significantly and keep rising for a long period, there is no problem.
