Question about Cell Phones

Can I have two phones with different numbers on the same pre paid account

Your question isn't clear, but I will try to answer it from my understanding of what you might mean... I have smartphones (android based and IOS) active (so they all have their own phone numbers). Then since they are smartphones, I have found several "phone" apps that allow me to dial out with an assigned different number while in a "wifi" area. So essentially two numbers on one phone. If this explains what you want, try "Pinger".

Yes if a cdma phone is already associated with a line it must be decoded from that line to get a new activation. you either get the operator to decode it, which they will do alot of verifications or get to a professional to change the esn.

I would like to know if this is a pay as you use phone, thats not what i want

a phone is a phone and the payment for use method is either per pay in which case you buy time on a pre paid card or pay at the end of the time on an account from your service provider
If you want a monthly account then arrange that account with your service provider
even if it is a pre-paid phone you can change that to an account by making arrangements with your service provider

Bought a Samsung GT E12001 mobile today, the assistant put the simple and battery in I have brought it home there is no bars not receiving texts or calls

go into call and put in #06# and note imei number that comes up. Next phone the mobile network provider and tell them you want to check you phone got connected properly to their network when you purchased it , give them the mobile phone number and the imei number if they ask for it.
If it is a pre paid phone you may need a recharge of credits onto the phone. The dealer or assistant should have done this for you if needed and explained the pre paid system to you if you are on pre paid. You may have an internet portal with the mobile phoine network provider that can manage your pre paid.
If the mobile phonw was connected via wi fi you should have an application somewhere on the phone to manage recharging credits. if pre paid
You can't do it on the mobile data if your credits are zero.

My phone has no sound and picture message I send to people can not be opened

Not offering solutions, per se, but did you try a hard reset, and are you using a pre-paid SIM? If you hard reset the phone, it will acquire the MMS settings from the carrier, assuming you are not using a pre-paid SIM that requires different MMSC settings, it should work for you. If you are using a pre-paid SIM, then you are stuck like me, until someone smarter than us tells us how to fix it! ;)

I bought a prepaid cell phone (AT&T) and had it for several months. Smasung Cheap phone $9.99 Q78-GR225. also I have a contract phone A I-Phone # 3-G. (At&T) also why won't the Sims card from...

That happens to a lot of things. The manufacturers have it to where you have to spend money new items. Fact in point, you have to buy new ink cartridges when you get a new printer the same ink cartridges you bought for your old printer is a different number even though it is the same brand.

I can't load pre-paid credit onto my N900, it just shows "incorrect number" what software, if any, do I need to resolve this problem?

Try entering the numbers again, you probably must have entered the wrong number while trying to load your credit.

Best regards

Not recieving or send picture messages..

I was able to solve the problem by doing a full rest on my Palm Pre. I was reluctant to do this but with my data pulling from the web it was not really that big of an issue.

The other difference I have now is that I have less accounts setup. I had Home, and Work Google accounts setup, and in Google (Calendar) I had sharred the other account. So on the Palm Pre I had two accounts showing the same calendars. What I had to do is add both account to contacts then in calendar remove one. I have no idea if this is why it is working now.

I did remove my wife's account from Google when I was testing, and that did not make any difference. I tried to sms her by phone number without her account info in the phone and it still did not work.

The phone full reset worked for me.

I have the same problem the phone(motorola ci68i at&t) is asking for the network PIN my imei no is 011393006202721 please send me the unblock code to this email

Pay as you go (Pre-Paid) phones will be unlocked by AT&T. Simply call them and tell them you need it unlocked. They will provide you with the unlock code and instructions on how to enter it. Because you paid full price for the phone, it can be unlocked. The only requirement is that the phone was used on an AT&T pre-paid account for at least 30 days.

Pay as go phone

If the phone has ever been activated as a prepaid phone, the ESN is locked for 6 months, and verizon will not activate it on a postpaid account during that time. I suggest you tell the eBay seller this and try to get your money back. If however the phone has never been activated as a prepaid phone it should work fine, and you might try going to another verizon location (the rep might just want you to buy a new phone and sign another 2 year contract...)
