Question about Hampton Bay 24002 Ceiling Fan
Don't know the brand. Just clicked on first option for brand. Have had for years. Pull chain for the light portion seems to be all the way out or is just stuck. Will not pull down anymore to turn light on.
You will probably have to replace the switch that is controlled by the chain. You will need one withe the same number of wires coming out of it. Find out the type of fan and google it. If it is a cheap fan I would replace the entire unit, it if is also old.

If you only pull once to turn on light, go to Home Depot, Lowes or local hardware store and buy a two wire light pull chain switch. Just wire it the same as the old one.
