We just installed our new dishwasher 4 days ago. It ran perfectly. Today the machine is not draining and the lights have all gone out on the control panel. I checked the circuit panel

Dishes not getting clean, what to do to fix this

The drain hose positioning on a dishwasher is very important. Coming from the sink drain it must first loop up and then go down to the dishwasher. This loop is important because it keeps the sink water from flowing down and contaminating the the diswasher sump with debris. Another problem is that the drain hose drains "down" from the dishwasher and water is siphoning out, this is an incorrect installation. Check the water level after it starts and again after abt 3 min. if the water level has gone down you have a siphon problem. Good Luck.

The only button that works is the cancel drain

Sounds like a keypad malfunction or the control board has gone bad.

Sounds like dishwasher is running but no water coming out (there are no broken pipes or leaks)

I had the same problem. The motor is working (humming) and my dishwasher goes through the whole cycle without water. I googled it and found it on a website. Sorry I don't remember which website. Basically, it said to put some hot water in the bottom of your dishwasher and add some citric acid. I added 2 small packets (2 oz each) and filled the bottom of the dishwasher with hot water until it covered the motor or the drain of the dishwasher and left it overnight. The next day my dishwasher started and ran perfectly fine. That was over 4 months ago and I have not had any problems.

Problem with my dishwasher not draining at all.....

Has this Dishwasher ever drained at all? In installations the need to have a drain line attached to a disposal system is top on the list, how ever some times the connection is made but a small plug in the disposal on the inside of the wall of the grinding chamber has to be knocked out to allow for proper draining of the dishwasher water.

DW won't drain and "lock" light is stuck "ON"

Joe, see if you can reset the board by pressing heated dry-normal-heated dry-normal..(new board). Old board is high temp wash-air dry-high temp wash-air dry. See if it goes back to normal. If not you probably have a stuck or shorted keypad on the overlay..not the board. Catriver...post back

Pump Runs On After Water Is All Drained Out?

If the cycle does not stop draining that is usually because of a faulty water level switch that controls the water level in your appliance.
The faulty sensor cause the machine to think that there is still water inside, even when water has drained completely.
Check if the floating sensor is stuck or faulty.
Some machine may use a membrane switch instead of a floater.
