I had to install several updates on my H5550 to get the wireless to work. You need firmware 1.10.10 to start with (the latest version), then there are several wireless firmware updates, and a wireless driver you need to install. I can´t remember what these were off the top of my head, but it might help point you in the right direction.

SOURCE: I have a hp Ipaq h2200 pocket pc

Hello :-) I have a Ipaq 4350 and the same thing happened to me. one day I hard reseted it and when it came to the point when it asked me to align the screen it froze and wouldn't move at all. I found out that it was screen that got damaged somehow. And I think your screen is damaged too. I'd recommend calling HP.

Pocket pc internet explorer is not working properly. while giving command to browze a web address, message appear 'the page you are looking for cannot be found'

Assuming the site you are browsing is not the faultand your internet connection is up and running, there will be a setting or option in internet explorer to delete temporary files and cookies. Run this cleanup as you probably have some corrupt cookies which when you start to view the web page will be used to load the page quicker from the cached memory. close down i.explorer and open it u again and try browsing.

Problems to access the WWW

You may have an over abundance of wireless sites in the PC's memory and it is just stuck. Or you may be connected to a secured site of a neighbor which will show you connected but you can't access anything. Have you tried to reset the device? I tried to paste over some info from the viewsonic site but the web page wouldn't allow right mouse click|copy action. Let me know what happens. Good Luck, Tim

Jornada 525 and Windows Media Player 9

Only a hint. Did you check the small print via the downloads for Pocket PC on the Microsoft web pages? If you download from the regular OS pages they don't mention that certain Pocket PC generations are not supported. I noticed this but only on Media Player downloads fom the pocket PC pages but it takes time to find this more detailed info. lt.mspx

I don’t know which GPS you have but as far as I know the GPS manufacturer publish the list with all compatible PDAs. If you want you can try to check it on the manufacturer’s web page.
