Question about AT&T Lucent MLS-12D Phone
Have you tried getting another phone number? I'm not sure if you have access to the same service like the service at https://www.numbersupermarket.co.uk/08-numbers, but you can actually install an app with this service and have different phone numbers going to one phone. Try looking for a similar type service to help solve your problem. Best of luck!

The SIM card in the new phone is paired with a cell phone provider. Whatever the provider (AT&T? Verizon? Cricket? T-Mobile?) setup on the SIM card, that is the phone number that will be active. You can only have one SIM card active in a phone at one time. You can only have one phone number active on a SIM card.
You can setup a forwarding service like Google Voice to forward calls to another number. Each physical phone needs it's own SIM card ad phone number. You can't share phone numbers between cell phones.
