Make sure all screws are out first. the 2 halves are held together with clips. they will be hard to pull apart. try and make a small opening with a knife between the 2 halves and work around untill you come across a clip, push down on the clip to release it . there will be a few holding them together and you might find if you unclip one and move on it will clip back into place so a few thin instruments will be needed all the way around

The electrical connection 0n Rowenta steam iron DG5030 is inconsistent. I wish to disassemble and check the tightness of connection

Screws may hold the shell together but the halves are usually clipped together by hooks around the edge of the shell to discourage would be 'electricians' from doing home repairs. Once you've removed the screws and the body held by the screws doesn't come apart, look for a point where you can insert a screw driver in it to pry the body part out. If you can't do that, then don't do it. best thing to do is take it to a repair agent. At least it's safer.

Hy108tgt

Our HY-108 (not a HY-108TGT) does not have a filter when it was purchased new from a Retailer.

IMHO, Honeywell/KAZ designed these Tower Fans to be disposable if they fail to work or need cleaning.

These Fans are hard to disassemble for service or maintenance, OEM replacement Parts are unavailable to the general public, service documentation is hard to find, and the Tower Fans tend to have a short Product lifespan. THEY BREAK EASILY! The OEM Service Manual points to replacing complete parts assemblies because few electronics diagnostics and no schematics are provided.

The HY-108 case can start to be disassembled (I have done so on ours) by *First* removing the screws and separating/removing the plastic Base from the main Case assembly. *Second* remove the Phillips-Head screws on the back of the Case. *Third*, the internal plastic 6 Tabs that keep the 2 halves held together need to be gently separated - careful, they break easily. You need to gently loosen the internal plastic "Tabs" by using a thin flat-head screwdriver to gently and carefully separate the outer shell cover.

How to disassemble logitech mx-1100

Pull off the 2 largers slide plate stickers on the bottom. you will find 2 screws on the nose end and one on the bottom end of the mouse.. the 4th screw is located under the sticker in the battery tray lining. remove this sticker and remove the 4th screw. now you can separate the 2 halves but be careful for the ribbon cable connecting the 2.

Battery on my Tom Tom XXL540S is dead. How do I replace it. I can see no way to disassemble the unit.

Remove the two #5 torx screws under the label, using a butter knife or similar and starting near the screw hole side, slide the knife under the front bezel and pop it off the back. Push small white connector clamp towards ribbon cable on back half and the cable will slide out. The two halves are now separated. Remove three screws and remove circuit board. Wiggle and pull out the battery connector. Slide butter knife under battery and pry loose from the sticky tape.
Voids any warranty!

did you remove the screws that are under the handle halves, and before I completely disassemble the tool do you have a shop vacuum and if so remove the dust bag and put the hose on that outlet and run the tool and see if it pulls anything out. I would only split the halves as a last resort. Let me know if you need more assistance.

exactly what screws did you remove. you have to remove the bottom platen first (pad) then remove the housing screws. you need to remove the fan also and then might need to apply some pressure to split the housing halves.
