Question about Kenmore Kitchen Ranges
Put oven on pre-heat to 350 and after 20 minutes still trying to pre-heat and only up to 180 degrees. Never got up past 250 even after putting on bake at 350.
You might want to check where the thermometer is located on older models it can be knocked out of position perhaps to close to the roof of the oven which gives false heat reading

If this is a gas stove the oven igniter could be going bad and the oven it taking way to long to light. If electric the bake element could be bad. They will heat slightly because the broil element is energized but will not heat the oven enough to get to temperature.
