My acer veriton desk top is not booting up and giving a beep continues beep also moniter is not displyaing omething

This is likely a result of the computer not recognizing the monitor. During the POST test during startup, the computer will check for a video output. It can range from the video card failing to just not having the monitor plugged in. I would check you connections, perhaps try a different monitor, even a television that has either HDMI, DVI, or VGA input. If that does not fix it, it is likely your graphics card or on board graphics from the motherboard. Is there anything new since the last time the computer worked? How old is your PC?

My dell lcd moniter display blank white screen only?

This should be posted in monitors. Does the screen display anthing during boot up of the computer? Does it appear that the computer is booting? If the computer seems ok, then plug the monitor into another computer. If it works there, then it is something with the computer, and we will need a bit more information to work with.

Hope this helps

What you should try at this point is shut everything down, Unplug your desktop, hook it back up to tour moniter and boot. If you now get a picture, go to your device manger and click on display adaptors. If you have more than one selection. choose your monitor. Let me know if this works.

Why does my monitor display go from 32 bit to 8 bit after bootup?

This has something to do with the software for yur video card , so the first thing to do here is to uninstall and reinstall the video card software to correct the problem.....

the problem is the update you downloaded someone mixed with your graphic chip.. causeing it to only display dots and lines. the hp logo with the back round is the start up page. here are 2 ideas you might wanna try.

1. if your graphics car is in a AGP or PCI, pull it out and try useing the default card build in the computer.. if it is the default go out and bye a cheap graphics card and see if that works.. if not return it and get your money back.

2. try useing a diffrent moniter.. your moniter might of blown out. if that still dont fix it you might need to contact HP or the moniters manufactuer.

hope this helped!

Maybe video adapter

(I'd like to stress that this is mostly speculative. Please don't read this as gospel or a guaranteed fix; it's just an idea or two.)

True, it may be the video adapter. But there are a number of different things that can cause a computer to not display anything during its boot, even though you can tell it's booting. The best thing to try first is (and only if you're comfortable digging in a computer) unplug all the peripherals in the machine (e.g. HDD, CD, etc.) and RAM and (if it's an add-on card) the video card and turn on the computer. Obviously, it won't boot properly, but as you slowly add components back in (one at a time) you might find the culprit.
Basically, a problem like this can be traced back to either a short/static build-up in some component or a failing/dead video adapter. If you're getting absolutely no display (which your description indicates) it's definitely a hardware issue of some sort.

Of course, it really helps to have a P.O.S.T. card handy to determine exactly what's going on and most computer shops you take a machine to will have one. Often, local shops will diagnose a problem for free or a nominal fee.
