Hayward pool filter

Copy following link to access Hayward pool filter manuals: Each manual has a troubleshoot section.... and troubleshoot is about the same for different models of sand filter.
Your filter has Intermatic timer, and you tried the override lever with no luck... Check if circuit breaker is supplying power. Flip breaker fully off, and then fully back on.

Also I see that Intermatic timer has plastic cover over the terminals ... be sure wiring terminals are always covered by clear insulator for safety.

Pool timer can not get the plate to turn. Can lift the teeth but will not turn.

Timer is not identified.
Copy following link to help identify timer, and download possible manual.
And then add comment with clear description of timer, and what device the timer controls, and add if this is new timer, or timer that worked before and stopped working, and about how many years old the timer is.
Most timers come with limited 1 year warranty.

Need instruction manual for pool/spa Intermatic timer model RC 2343PT

Intermatic does not post that product manual, or the door label for that specific product. Nor is the door label clear when viewing images of timer.

Copy following links for possible assistance wiring timer, and then setting timer: Label.pdf

I need to know how to set this timer for a large swimming pool, and how long I need it to run, to keep it clean. I believe it is about 35,000 gals., in-ground pool.

You have Intermatic mechanical timer connected to swimming pool pump/filter.
Open following link to read about setting timer:
Lift and rotate dial until current time is lined up with stationary pointer.
Put on-off trippers on outer edge of dial.
Timer comes with 2 sets of trippers, and you can order replaceable trippers. Up to 12 sets of trippers can be added to dial for a total of 12 ON and 12 OFF events each 24-hour period.
For 35000 gallon, pump should run at least 6 hours each 24-hour period. During freezing weather, if pipes are above ground, you can remove trippers from dial, set override lever to ON position, and run pump 24-hours to prevent frozen pipes.

I have two 220 Intermatic time clocks in a raintight box operating a pool pump and a sweep (cleaning) pump for my pool. The clock motor quit operating--it is an Intermatic WG1573 5 60Hz 3W. The front of...

1) Order 240V T100 series clock motor.

2) Order extra trippers too since they are designed to wear down so they don't damage tripper lever.
Put dab of white (bicycle) grease on the tripper lever.

3) Turn power off.
Mechanism snaps out using thumb-spring located inside box at top.
Clock motor is held with two star-screws. Buy bit at auto parts store.
Clock motor wires attach to terminals 1 and 3
Reattach terminal screws very tight against copper wire and make sure wire-insulation is not caught under screw clamp.
To re-set current time, lift and rotate dial until current time lines up with silver pointer.

4) See next generation of Intermatic pool timers that snap into same box.
New timer controls 3 separate circuits with different schedules for each circuit, so the single timer can replace both mechanical timers. Wiring is complicated, programming is complicated. I am still reading the manual, and it makes sense to me, so you can trust fixya to help in event that you replace your timers next ten years.

Also take advantage of fixya phone service.
For a price, expert speaks with you over phone while you work on timer or any do-it-yourself project.
Fixya is always less expensive than a service call.

Need instructions to program Intermatic Model #E140C wall switch timer.

Do you mean Intermatic E104C box-type timer? Intermatic does not make E140C

Manual says "refer to programming instructions on time switch door"

Manual says timer has 8 events per 24-hour day ... 4 'on' events and 4 'off' events. Normal operations, selectors are set to AUTO and RUN.

Using sketchy info from manual about programming:
Set sliders to MANUAL & TIME/SET
Press EVENT for event 1 ... set hour and minute using HOUR & MIN buttons ... this will be 'on' time
Press EVENT for event 2 ... set hour and minute ... this will be 'off' time
Set all 8 events ... 4 'on' and 4 'off'
Move sliders to AUTO & RUN for timer operation

P1353 manual with wiring and programming appear on following link:

1) To clear all programming, press MODE button located above PROG button. Use paper click and hold in MODE button for 5 seconds until display shows SET MODE and the Mode Number blinks.(page 30).

2) Use ENTER button to to review events for each circuit. At this point, you can reprogram timer.
Use PROGRAM button to advance to next circuit and go to next programming feature. (page 31)

3) Don't forget, when reprogramming timer, and you want each circuit to operate independently, then select MODE 1 (page 33).

4) P1353 timer can control 3 different circuits. And programming for each circuit can be independent, or linked by selecting different MODE (page 33).
Linking programs let you control 2-speed motor for example, with each speed controlled by separate circuit.

5) You can set up to 3 programs for each circuit.
