The sound is water pressure flowing through the inlet valve and tubing. If it just started you may have picked up sediment inside the inlet valve most of which have a filter type screen inside. The valve would have to be removed and possibly cleaned. Some don't come apart and can only be replaced. The inlet valve is the plastic part on the back that the house water line connects to.

Samsung Frig water dispenser makes loud humming sound when dispensing water. This began after changing water filter.

Check to see if you have rotated new filter in the engaged direction.
I have had a few filters that were defective and were not fully charged. If you have the reciept, take old filter back to retailer and see if you can exchange it for another one. Also, make sure you have the right filter model number. You can check the model number for the filter with your refrigerator model number at Searspartsdirect.com
Hope this helps

What's wrong with my gss25wstf ss fridge?

Remove the incoming water line, (the one coming from your house), from the refrigerator. Check to see if there is a screen where the water line attaches, it may be blocked with debris from your house water line.

Ice maker not making ice, water dispenser makes a loud clicking sound when filter is in.I already replaced the dual water valve and tried a new water filter.

The gear that drives the mechanism that moves the ice out and allows fresh water to come in is damaged. In some cases the ice tray needs to come out so the ice cubes in the system can be removed by letting them actually turn back to water. Once you have cleaned it of old ice, try it again. Most likely a waste of time though.
What I have done to save money is find an old refrigerator someone wants to toss and pull the ice maker out. Chances are they have the same plug and wiring. Better if you just go get a new ice maker unit from where they sell parts for your refrigerator. It is easy to remove. usually about three screws or so. about two on top and one or more on the bottom side.

Replaced water filter when trying to get water it HONKS loudly and no water comes out

You might have air in your system. Hold the dispense lever down for several second about every 10 minutes until you have the air purged.

I have a Kenmore side x side. I have changed the water filter and now water is coming from the water spout when water is needed to make ice. Just prior to changing the filter I noticed water coming from...

Sounds like the dual water inlet valve on the back where the water supply is connected, has gone bad and is leaking across to the other side. It may also put water into the ice maker when you use your dispenser.

LOUD BUZZING SOUND WHEN DISPENSING WATER THRU THE DOOR

The water control valve on rear of refrigerator is weakening. That is typical sound for a coil that opens the side that dispenses water or ice tray refills to vibrate or buzz when weakening. If I had you r model number I could give you the part number. They are not expensive and easy to replace. Thanks, Sea Breeze

When water is flowing to door dispenser or ice maker the fridge makes a loud banging noise. Sounds like water hammer - maybe a valve is malfunctioning? What/where should i look for the problem?

Sounds like your water has been off for maintenance. This will make a sound like this but the rest of the faucets would have done it also when you first ran water through them the first time. So if you have a filter on your fridge, remove it and re prime before putting back on. If not, look at the back, bottom where the water supply connects to the back. Have some one try to get water in the door while you hold your hand on the valve where the water supply connects. See if it vibrates and makes the noise. Also follow the line and see if you have two different water valves. If so do the same with it. One should be making the noise if your filter does not have air in it. Good luck.

I have an old Kenmore 26 side by side that dispenses water and ice. At one point it stopped producing ice and dispensing water. I changed the inline filter and it worked perfectly. Happened again shortly...

It sounds like you need to replace your water inlet valve , it is a dual valve for ice and water in the door and they go out often , the solenoid is not opening anymore , it is located where you hook up the water line.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
