A gas dryer usually only takes 110 volts not amps. All electric dryers take 220 volts.

This type of diagnosis will require accessing the internal components & making voltage & resistance checks with a volt/ohm meter. There are several different components that could cause this symptom & yes it is possible that the door switch is bad. This model of dryer should only be worked on by an experienced, trained technician due to all of the electronic controlled parts. richroth_121.jpg

Check the idle pulley & it's belt. If it's worn, replace it. If that isn't the problem, check to see if the drum is supported on wheels or rollers. Sometimes these can wear and require replacement.

Another common cause of a noisy dryer is a clogged blower wheel. Check it for lint and clean it if necessary. If it appears worn, it will require replacement.
NOTE:- Always disconnect the power before doing any type of dryer repair.

Good Luck and have a nice day
Rating the solution is highly appreciated
