Question about Building Materials
Does your garage door budge at all when you try to close it? Last month, my garage wouldn't close, but it would act like it was going to by moving a few inches and then closing again. If that's your issue, then it's probably just the sensor and it should take a simple repair job. http://www.allamerican-garagedoor.com/residential-garage-door/4589758099

Optic sensor issue most likely. check alignment, check wire for breaks, check staples shorting out wires. it you hold the wired wall button and the door closes, then it is a sensor issue. you can also just jump the terminals where the wires connect on the opener motor and see if it works normally, if so, again the sensors are the issue.
