Sit further away from the TV. More than that, it takes a tech to do this. Sounds like your tubes are dying. Start looking for a new set. They are cheap enough to be considered throw away items. Wait for a weekend where playoffs are going on, and go to one of the box stores and look for ding and dent merchandise. People buy a huge new set before important games, bring the world over to watch and then return it the next day or two for a full refund. Go buy the stuff they didn't want. It;s already broken in at that point.
