The lock button was pushed and locked and now we are unable to despence ice from the door pannel
SOURCE: ice despencer won't make ice any more
Are you getting water? If you have water check how cold freezer is. Freezer most get to minus 10 degrees somtimes as low as minus 5. If your freezer is working properly it should drop to zero or below. If you are not getting water and you freezer is cold enough to trigger the system. You either have abad solinoid valve or your line is stopped up. Loosen line at frig. first to make you are getting water. You have a wire with acouple spades on it you could hook directly to solinoid valve to check it. Hope this helps Fxit

You may need to manually defrost it if icy or the water filter may be partially plugged. I may need more information.
SOURCE: ge profile refrigerator ice maker
I have a GE Profile PSW26P Stainless Steel Side by Side refrigerator that makes plenty of ice but will not dipense when the lever is pushed. The dispenser makes not sound when engaged. What do you think the problem is.
SOURCE: WHIRLPOOL ICEMAKER DESPENCER STOPPED WORKING.
It is either the motor going bad or the switch at the ice lever. The little micro switch that is activated by the ice lever is likely held in place by two little, week, plastic pins. They break easily. After one pin breaks, the switch can still be close by the lever, but it is hit and miss. It is a ****** to replace the bracket unless you have some experiance. One other long shot would be the freezer door light switch that shuts power off to the dispenser when the door is open.

there a board behind the dispenser. migh be out
Hello friend, thank you for your post!
I understand that you are receiving crushed ice even when you request cubed ice. It could be an issue within your control panel or solenoid. Since it could be any one of these under lying issues I would recommend having a technician come out to properly diagnose your appliance. Hope this is helpful. -Matt
