Please go back and check you model number. The number you posted above came back as a Trane furnace on one website that I went to. Also, give us the brand name.

Door will not remain closed

Check to see if the shelves are not hitting the door shelves. the crisper drawers are in properly and there is not something too large in the door shelves. This is the usually reason for the doors not to stay closed. the other reason could be a bad door gasket.

How to maintain your refrigerator door gasket.

One of the most common problems with a Refrigerator is the door gasket torn and falling off.
I can't tell how many homes I have been in and seen the door Gasket on the Refrigerator falling off, especially at the bottom. Its a very simple
maintenance remedy that most do not think of or have ever done.
What happens almost always is that sticky stuff (syrup, jelly.cokes,
orange juice, etc. spill down on the lower door and gasket and then dries.
Guess what? When you open the door the gasket is stuck to the fridge
and it pulls the gasket a little each time until it pulls off.
Its very simple ,once a week or so to take a warm wet rag and clean
the gasket all the way around and also the ref base then gasket seals to.

If this was helpful please rate me.

What are the steps to change the rubber that seal each door of the Kenmore Elite fridge? Do I just need to pul it out or I need to take the whole door appart?

The door gaskets are held in place by screws located under the lip of the gasket. The secret is to remove only half the screws on the top of the gasket, remove that half and let it hang. Install the top half of the new gasket, let it hang, then remove the lower half of the old gasket. Finish the lower half of the new gasket. The new gasket will take some time to conform to the door opening. Be patient. (Hint): Fill your kitchen sink with hot water and soak the new gasket for 15 mins or so. It will become pliable and much easier to work with.

How to adjust door viking dfsb423

Viking 42" built-in units usually don't offer any door adjustments. If one of the doors are not closing well, check for obstructions blocking the door bins, worn door gasket, and possible door warp-age on the panel ready models. Viking did have top hinge recalls updating to the new "Cobra" hinge on many of their models which can be verified by calling viking and providing your full model/serial numbers. If your Fridge door is lower than the freezer door you most likely have a worn door closer located on the lower hinge of the fridge door, the closer is a 2 piece plastic interlocking/mating unit which wears down over time from friction. This usually needs to be replaced. Pleazer Appliance...

My door gasket is torn and I'm trying to find an website that sells door gaskets for this beverage air product

I use Restaurant Parts and More in Ohio. I've done business with them since they started and have never had an issue with parts. They stand behind their products and are great on service. I have gotten defective parts in the past and there was no issue in returning them. Just have your model and serial numbers and talk to Rick. 1-88-814-1110

On our Fridgidaire refrigerator - freezer door comes open

Good day,
When you close the fresh food door, air is pushed in, and forced into the freezer compartment.

Check to see if the machine is leveled. Slight tilt to the rear is ideal.

If the freezer door fits properly, then usually it is weak magnets in the door gasket, and the door gasket needs replaced.

There are specific details on how to replace a gasket. A qualified counter-man at an appliance parts house will explain the details.
Very important.

Freezer door stays ajar after closing the refrigerator door.

The lower hinge on each door may have a door closing cam. It raises the door up ¼ inch when opening and this assist in closing the door. If it’s wore out and doesn’t work the door may not seal and the gasket can be damaged. Watch the operation of the door to see if it rises up when opened.

Leave the door shut and let the magnetic gasket hold the door in place. Put something between the bottom of the door and the floor to hold it in case it slips.
Remove the bracket holding the pin and hinge assembly taking note of order of removal of parts. Slide new cams on. You probably need two.
