No possible due to the frequency band of the radio. Governed by component values.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

I suspect that the extended transmit will really allow you TX on 2 Meter from 136-174 or thereabouts even with modifications.
At any rate, Air Bands are amplitude modulated, have you tried switching mode to "AM" when operating 116-136MHz??
Would you post back please on how the modification (extended transmit) was done; software programming of the EEPROM or jumpers (JP1001-1009).
Good luck and kind regards.

I see from your profile that you are in Bulgaria. Assuming that you are using the European PMR446 version of the Uniden radio in question, the channels / frequencies should be;
1 - 446.00625 MHz
2 - 446.01875 MHz
3 - 446.03125 MHz
4 - 446.04375 MHz
5 - 446.05625 MHz
6 - 446.06875 MHz
7 - 446.08125 MHz
8 - 446.09375 MHz
So, to operate on 446.09375 MHz you would chose channel 8.
If your radio has more then 8 channels, then you may have the U.S. version of the radio which operates on a different set of frequencies and does not have a channel that corresponds to 446.09375 MHz.
Go Ahead. Use Us.

Here is a good website with radio mods for most radios, here's the mod for the vx2, also note the other files, I guess that radio has had a few problems in the past....

if the band assigned to the radio doesn't cover the frequencies you want then it will not happen. you need to get the software and the right programming lead. make sure the mic socket is good and clean
