When was the last time you pulled the front grill at the bottom and cleaned it out? or had it serviced, most times they come in with a air compressor and blow the coils free and everything is back to normal, I clean mine twice a year, have a special 20 dollar tool bought from parts store.

I unplugged my fridge to plug it into a power strip (so I could also plug my microwave into that plug), and when I turned it on again it's not making noise. Did I hurt the fridge?

should not have
I would suspect that the power strip reset overload button popped or there is a problem in the power supply
unless the fridge did not need the compressor running as it was cold enough and the compressor had stopped as per the cycle

I have a Beko frost free fridge freezer kept in a garage that has all of a sudden just stopped working. I noticed that the bread I'd put in the freezer hadn't frozen and then noticed that the fan had...

If the fan has failed or intermittent, the freezer wont freeze the food properly but usually you get a mountain of ice build up at the back of the freezer. This ice jams and stops the fan from turning. Alternatively, there could be a defrost problem. Unless it is a fully electronic defrost machine, there is usually a little timer on the back of the fridge to force a defrost after a certain time. The fridge will turn off, the defrost heater operates to melt the ice and then usually with 20 to 45 minutes, the defrost timer will "click" back on and start the fridge running again. If the timer is sticking, the fridge may stay on its defrost cycle and never start again, thus, it doesn't get cold. If you find the defrost timer, have a close look for a little shaft or slotted screw type stud sticking out of the middle of it. A slight turn of this and you should hear it clicking around. When you hear a loud click, that is either the start or end of the defrost cycle. If you have a full electronic defrost system, it may be a failed board, heater, thermostat or defrost safety fuse.

My Philips IQON PC won't start up. There is power

Yes. Basically your power supply stops working. You really need to replace it.

Ice maker and water stopped working, hear a clicking sound. We tried cutting power and starting again, it stopped making the noise, but we still got no ice or water, and after a couple hours started making...

the sound from the icemaker is coming form the water solenoid valve, which needs to be replaced. if your frezer is cold then the fan is fine, most are switched to turn off when you open the door so you arent likely to see it running unless you set up a camcorder in your fridge :-)

Fridge displaying F16 and sonic alarm sounding.

Could be that the generator cannot supply the surge power needed for the compressor to get going.

12v &240v connections on an ENGEL COOLER

AUTOMATIC AC/DC CHANGEOVER: All Engel Fridge Freezers can be plugged into both AC and DC at the same time. The Engel is smart enough to use the AC while available and then automatically switch to DC when the AC is no longer working. It will also sense the resumption of AC power and automatically switch back to AC making it ideal for high hurricane areas and places where power disruption is common.
