SOURCE: fisher and paykel DD-603 dish drawer

Hi there, If you have had an F1 you need to dry out the product in order to reset the flood switch. This is a simple process as follows: 1. Ensure product is disconnect from wall so that it has no power. 2. Open the bottom drawer and put your hand in through the gap where the bottom of the bottom drawer comes out and feel the base of the cabinet that houses the drawers for water. 3. If there is water present dry it out as much as you can with paper towels or old rags. This machine is designed to drain all water to the front of the base of the cabinet away from the flood switch that sits at the back left corner of the cabinet base that the drawers are fitted into. 4. When you have base of the cabinet dry you need to ensure that the switch has not moisture on it in order for it to reset and allow you to start using the product. This can be done 2 ways: 1. leave bottom drawer open for 24-48 hours to allow natural air circulation to dry out the connection. or 2. position a hair dryer to blow air into the back left corner of the base of the cabinet and dry it out quicker. This still make take up to 6 hours as the flood switch had a protective cover over it to try to prevent F1's for small spills. 5. When the product had been dried out, important that you make sure it has, when you switch on the machine the F1 should be gone and ready to use. Please run each drawer seperately on a rinse cycle to confirm to yourself that it flooding was possibly caused by something blocking the sprayarm, or something stacked too high or something got stuck in the pump temporarily stopping it from draining effectively or the product suddsing too much from spilt rinse aide in one of the drawers. If each drawer runs successfully you should be in the all clear to start using it again. Please note though: if something blocks the spray arm that is directly linked to the pump your drawer will flood as a result. If you have something stuck in the pump peventing it from draining effectively ie a toothpick or piece of broken crockery this will cause your product to flood, but you will hear an louder than normal sound when the pump is running. And finally if you spill rinse aide in your drawer when filling it clean all spilt rinse aide to prevent unit from over sudsing when running. Regards KAR-Ltd

SOURCE: Fisher and Paykel Dishdrawer beeping constantly

leave it unpluged to stop for now, the machine has detected a leak and is constantly running hte pumps within the drawers to try to remove any water.. problrm is the water detector is in bottom under the lower drawer and htere is no pump to remove that water ..canbge a fickle machine as far as leaks are concerned, but the easy reason is usually misloading of the drawer itself, was an item put in that was too tall , preventing the lid from coming down and sealing off drawer causing water to overflow down the side??? there should be(so logn as no previous repairmen have taken it) a tech/trubleshooing guide taped to teh back wall behind the lower drawer, which is easily removed by unlocking hte hinges on either side of the front of drawer, explained in your manual

How do I drain water out of dish draw

http://www.scribd.com/doc/6462163/DD601V2-Manual
The Dishdraws are designed to leave some water inside so the drive pump does not burn out on initial start up.
Also check your levels and the flow of the drain hoses. Try removing the hoses that plumb into your sink drain and place them into a bucket . Run the Dishwasher to check the hoses are not blocked, This link should provide anymore info if required.

Fisher and paykel dishdraw model DD603

P2 is for drain. Make sure there is a bit of water in the base of drawer before you start P2 otherwise the rotor may rub and burn. You can run the diagnostic with drawer open. Be careful not to start P1 as the wash water will splash and flood the dishwashwer.

There is water left in the fisher paykel dishdrawer after cycle. it is a single drawer. it is not displaying an error. how do we get the water out?

Hi,
I need to know which model you have, so I can walk you through this. Or close drawer, push start, the unit will drain first, when done draining, push stop or pause before filling starts, then power to shut down. This will get rid of the water only. I would check the drain hose and all drain sources for obstructions, this unit has a time drain and if obstructed, it will leave water in the unit. Is this a double drawer? Is the problem only seen in one drawer (lower), need model number to unit stand what problem you may have.

Good Luck

Water is leakig from the bottom cabinet. How do I check to see that the lid is closing properly?

Go to diagnostic mode, once you in there, you can press Start/Pause to initiate show off mode. The show off Mode displays cycles through every segment. When you are at LS (or LD) stand ing for Lid seal, press lock/unlock button, then you will hear the sound of the actuators pulling the lid down. WHen it sop, try to pull out the tube. If it is sealed correctly, you would not be able to pull the tube out.

Fisher Paykel dishwasher drawer won't stop.

Let's go to diagnostic test mode to see if you can retrieve the the actuator hence the tube out.
1- Press Lock button and start/pause key until the display showing up.
2- Press Power to show HO.
3- Press start button to advance the display until you see P2 for draining, if you pass, keep doing it to get it back in a loop.
4- When at P2, press lock to turn on, press a again to turn off.
5- Listen to the sound of the pump. If you hear nothing that means the pump is dead or stuck.
6- The Motor has 2 directions: one for, Rinse and one for Drain. When you done with the diagnostic, press the power button to get out of the mode.
7- If this is the case, unplug the power then remove the rack, the bottom stanless steel plate with holes then take out the rotor to clean up. It is a good design the stator is outside of the tube, so you don't have to worry too much about the complication.
8- Make a note of all the positions so you can put them back the same as they were. Good luck

F & P Double Drawer

Are you sure of the model?? flash a U3 the following is from The FP Manual on the DD-603 Model...........

The last two faults are logged into EE memory.
The other U (user) faults have been removed. The old U2 fault, which was the tub forced open during a cycle, has
been removed completely. Instead if the tub is forced open the product simply pauses as if someone had pressed
the start/pause button. The old U3 fault, which indicated a failure to drain i.e. water left in the tub, will not show up a
fault and the DishDrawer will continue through the cycle
