Google search the motherboard make, model and the word manual. Look around the search results for the manual, or for sites that provide the motherboard specs. Your answer will be there.

When I upgrade P4M800PRO-M478 motherboard with 2x Kingston ValueRAM - Mémoire RAM - 1 Go - DIMM 240 broches - DDR II it doesn't recognize it as 1Go memory but only as 512Mb!! What is wrong??

hello nepr29

my name is ausi

i had a look at your main board. it is capable of 2gig RAM (maximum). you issue is typically related to the type of
RAM you are using. your posting does not indicate the RAM model.

you have to make sure the
RAM you are using is double sided (has chips on boat sides of it). older mother boards have problem addressing the full capacity of single sided RAM, so it reads only half of it.

good luck.
if this was helpful please vote for me.

1. Along beep on a motherboard indicates something is connected backward such a a fan or a data cable to the hard drive.
If it is the hard drive cable then you must have pin 1 connector turn around and therefore the mother board is giving a warning.
2. You may have a power supply failure that is the power supply is not giving proper voltage to the mother board.
3. Your ram chip is not properly seated in the RAM slot or in backwards.
4. The CMOS battery to the mother board need to be replaced.

Emachine E725, RAM is 1GB can i upgrade it to 2 GB

Bijay, Each mother board is capable of taking certain amount of RAM. Please check your User Guide. If not available there then you can try it out at the dealer's place. Unless you have a deal with him to take back the RAM if it does not work.

What is the maximum processor capability for a toshiba satellite m200 model number PSMC3A-O4POO8

go to their website and enter model & model #- find a click for specs.- should list max. ram and cpu capabilities. unless cpu is removable, as a desktop- which i doubt- i have a satellite m35x 1.3. you may need to replace the mobo (mother board), which can be really hairy!! see if you can upgrade your ram- it will make a rather significant difference in performance- can also install larger capacity hd. try 'flashing'- upgrading your bios- if your system isn't 'brand new'! you may have that option on the toshiba website.
good luck!

If you are using the on board graphics this will cause problems due to your 1 gb of ram being shared with the graphics and other things , for most of todays games that will cause many problems, I would suggest getting a video Card or playing older games that the on board graphics can support. The restart usually is a sign the the graphics capability is to low for the game, altho you can tweak your computer to some extent you will always still have problems. Now adding extra ram can always help but still i would recommend getting a video card first that your computer supports.

Hope this helps, let me know if i can further help,,,,larry

WHICH MOTHER BOARD SUPPORT em64T INTEL ?

All major motherboard manufacturers offer this support on most boards. The em64T indicates the processor is capable of running 64-bit operating systems and software. Do you already have a processor and if so what model is the processor? Based on the processor model you'll need to select a motherboard that has the correct socket type and bus speeds.
