May be plugged carb but often this is high speed and low speed carb adjustment. Requires special tool to fit adjustment screw...i always take the carb off and use dremel to cut these two air mixture screws....cut a slot on the top turning them into a slotted screw, then open each one counterclockwise 1/4 turn when carb is reinstalled. Run it and make adjustments two low and high speed screws till it idles nice and throttles up smooth and quick.
Does this cable have a small lead end ? Turn it vertical and slide it
into a spiral shape on carburetor the cable should pass through a groove facing the operators handle. Don't cut the lead end in anyway it won't work for you if you do.
If still under warranty have it serviced (authorized dealer not Joe's lawn mower). There should not be a fee (paid by Husqvarna). There have been carburetor problems. If you adjust it your warranty will likely be void; Joe's small engine service just as likely to void any warranty. Are you using a fresh 40:1 fuel oil mix. The will not start with choke set is normal. Start procedure in your OM says listen for sputter and disengage choke. Almost all new saws have similar start procedure. Start Procedure Cold:
Ignition on/off to on.
Set compression release – optional step even if saw is equipped with a compression release.
Pull (close) choke, set fast idle (done when choke closed on some saws); pull starter and listen for an attempt to start. once heard (usually two pulls; no more than 4).
Set compression release – optional step even if saw is equipped with a compression release.
Push (open) choke pull starter until it starts. (usually first pull).
Warm:
Ignition on/off to on.
Set compression release – optional step even if saw is equipped with a compression release.
Pull (close) choke, set fast idle (done when choke closed on some saws) – Do not pull with choke closed.
Push (open) choke, pull starter until it starts. (usually first pull).

After you start it and are in the second stage of the choke (half choke ) let it run for awhile until it warms a bit then try openning choke and going to full throttle.
Did you read the starting procedure in your OM? It is similar to this: Start Procedure Cold:
Ignition on/off to on.
Set compression release – optional step even if saw is equipped with a compression release.
Pull (close) choke, set fast idle (done when choke closed on some saws); pull starter and listen for an attempt to start. once heard (usually two pulls; no more than 4).

Warm:
Ignition on/off to on.
Set compression release – optional step even if saw is equipped with a compression release.
Pull (close) choke, set fast idle (done when choke closed on some saws) – Do not pull with choke closed.
Push (open) choke, pull starter until it starts. (usually first pull).
Flooding is most common reason for hard starting in 2-cycle engines.

It sounds like it is flooded. Do this it tests the switch and wiring too. Ignition Coil Test by SmallEng.com http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7WNBDRG4C4 You may need to use a jumper wire between the threaded part of the plug and the cooling fins. You do not have to bend up the electrode. My 359 wore my shoulder out the one time I forgot to set the fast idle by closing then opening the choke before I tried to start it. Check the manual for the recommended start procedure; it should be similar to this. Continuing to pull the starter with the choke closed once it tries to start will flood it in second!!! Prime away... on a chainsaw it does NOT squirt fuel into carburetor. It draws fuel from tank, through carburetor, and returns it to tank. Using the choke however will flood it in a second once it has fired. with a good fuel supply, 99.5 % of chainsaw won't start problems are flooded.

The real key on your Husky is to open the choke once it attempts to fire. Closing the choke sets the fast idle but leaving it closed only floods the engine once warmed up or after it attempts to start. True of Stihl too but slightly different start procedure.
