1 Answer

There is a ticking like morse code on all outputs including the head phones . changes volume with the volume knob.

Also i unplugged the power harness from the amp and the issue is still there. no blown fuses. nothing burnt in the unit, tapping the unit does not make this issue any better or worse

Hi James, if this has not been resolved please note that the unit would have to be serviced at one of our authorized service centers. You can locate one at the following link,

Another option would be to trade in the unit. With the trade in program we would take your unit back and sell you a reconditioned unit with a one year parts and labor warranty at a discount. To see if you unit qualifies for the trade in program please email me the units serial number to, Thanks, JT

My NAD C350 plays very faintly. when I turn the volume dial to the max position, I can bearly hear the music. I can hear properly from earphones output. Thanks

Take care. First put the volume down complete. Then unplug the head phone and than try to raise the volume. Could be the headphone connector does not switch through correct. Could be the connections between the pre and power amp are not in place or not proper pushed in?
Always take care when working with amplifiers. When switching them on with volume to max, you easy can kill your speakers. Also when disconnecting the headphones on full power kan damage the loudspeakers.

Volume not function.

You need to be a bit clearer on the exact nature of the issue.
Please include if the unit was working and suddenly stopped producing sound (ie - speaker output fuse blew) or if you relocated the unit, and after hooking it back up, you aren't getting any sound (ie - not hooked up right) or if the volume knob isn't changing the readout for the volume level (logic or knob broken) - and also include the make and model of WHAT the volume knob is attached to (ie - Yamaha receiver model X)

The manual knob for adjusting the volume does not work

If the Volume goes up with the remote controller then the fault is the failure of the stepper motor on the volume controller knob unit. The digital output must be converted through the D/A converter to a motor driver to show the indication of volume .
However if there is no change with the remote then the processor output and the converter section must be traced to find the loss of signal- possible failure of a digital gate.

Kenmore gas range 79071323700 makes noise when any knob is turned on and the noise stays until knob is turned off. How can I fix this?

sounds like the switch harnes is bad or you have a wire shored.

Switch harnes is part number 316219006

you realy need to inspect the switch harness and where the conction wires go make sure they are not touching ground.

Make sure you unplug the machine. the harness includes all 5 switches that slide over the control knobs and are conceted all together and then one wire side goes to power and the other gose to the spark modual.

I need to wire pre amp output jacks that will be controled by my volume knob, whare do i tap in at???

Best place is at the head phone jack. or get a head phone to rca adaptor at The Shack or on the web. Then you don't even need to take the cover off or solder.
